Well, it has been quite some time since I have been on the boards. I can't even remember the last time I posted something. Anyway, 2009 wasn't the best of years for us but here we are in 2010. With everything that occurred in 2009, we were 50/50 about booking a trip in 2010. We like going in May to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but we were not that sure it would happen in 2010. It will be 13 years for us in 2010.
Well, back in November we received a pin code for 30% - 40% of rooms so we started to consider it a little more, but we still couldn't decide 100%. (that was the 1st time we ever received a pin code). We got through the holidays and New Year and we finally decided that we were going to go. I booked everything this past Monday.
We are staying at Pop again (love it there) and this will make it the 7th trip for my DW and I, but we are doing a few things for the first time.
1. We are flying Jetblue for the 1st time together. We got the direct flight going from Portland, Maine to Orlando so that will be nice.
2. We are using the dining plan for the 1st time so we have a table meal for everyday (another 1st). We want to see if it ends up being worth it for us and see if it helps us not over spend on food.
3. I booked all our dining online for the 1st time and still got everything we wanted. Pretty user friendly system IMO. I usually do the booking via phone so I hope the online system is reliable.
4. AND I may trying checking in online as well. We'll see about that one.
That's it, thought I would share with the Dis world. We hoping for a great week long vacation at WDW and we definitely need some Dis Magic in 2010.
