Just booked 8/18 to 8/27 - how busy?

Just booked 14 night vacation - the first 9 nights being at Universal hotel - RPH. I know we'll get front of line but how busy are the parks at that time - are the kids back in school?

We also plan to visit Busch, Seaworld and Wet n Wild - is there a bus service from the Universal hotels if we decide not to hire a car?

I am from the UK, we went 13th August/27th this year - the parks are much quieter from the middle of the month onwards as most of the US schools go back then, we had no problems this year with crowds.

The weather was in the 90s each day though.

You may need to check with your hotel about bus services.

i went one time to universal in late august and found the parks with low crowds. i stay on site so i have the fotl but i could have stayed off site on that visit and still not have waits in lines.


i guess the kids are back in school then and the locals don't crowd the parks the last two weekends in that month.

i was there some years ago from august 25 - 30.
weather was HOT but no crowds.......

maybe someone that has been there the last couple of years could post how it was at the end of august also
