Outside of the actual resort, what do you like to do? We may meet with a rep while there. Actually I am pretty sure of it.

And, inside the resort, is there anything I shouldn't miss, or will we be able to see and do it all in 3 days inside the resort?

Sept. 7 - 9, leave Sat the 10th.

Will have my twin 4 YO. girls in tow.

I'm glad you were able to work it out...have a great time. Oh, as far as activities, there have been several recent threads with "live" updates that should give you some ideas about what's available to do.

One thing I'll bet they would enjoy is attending an activity with Shadow, the golden retriever. We went to Shadow's Tales, an informal activity near the campfire pit, on our last trip. B'lou Crabbe brings Shadow out and tells some stories about the mischief she has gotten herself into over the years. Afterwards, the kids can come up and pet her and have their pictures taken with her.

We also did the dolphin cruise and loved it, though I'm not sure if it is something you think your children would be into or not.

Since my boys are teens, I can't tell you too much about the other activities your girls would enjoy, but I'm sure you will have a fantastic time! HH is our favorite DVC resort!

Here is a picture of Shadow and B'lou from our Easter trip.

Take advantage of the activities at the resort. Your girls will enjoy the Un-birthday party, campfire, Shadow's Tales and Toddler Tales in addiiton to the Dolphin Cruise. The beach is in great shape and the area will still be active at the time you're there.

There are no longer any DVC guides to talk with at the resort. The sales office closed several years ago , but you can talk with your guide by calling 1-800-800-9100 at the SSR sales center. The resort staff will be happy to give you information about the resort and you'll be able to see the facilities while you are there.

Have a great trip! :)

There's a bunch to do there, although I think tearing two 4 year olds away from the pool is going to be pretty hard. In addition to the unbirthday party and campfire activities, there are arts and crafts to do, too. We were there over the 4th and the project for the day was to paint a wooden rowboat.

Be sure to check out the beach house and go to the beach. You can rent bikes and ride all over the island, too. The dolphin tour, while expensive, is alot of fun. It can be hit and miss with the dolphins, but some days you'll see alot of them. If not, there's always the huge houses on Calibogue Sound to look at. There's also putt-putt golf all over the place.
