We were there 3-4 years ago a had a great time. We had good weather, 70's, and swam in the pool every day. There was a lot of activities at the resort for the holiday but the island and the resort were pretty quiet the week before and after Thanksgiving. You could eat T-Dinner at island restaurants or have a meal delivered to your room. The kids had a snow ball fight (rolled up hand towels) and there was a lot of holiday themed activities. They were also decorating for Christmas.
If you call the resort a week before you go you can get a list of activities. The resort was full for the weekend but it never felt crowded.
Do you guys drive from NR. We live 25 miles South of you and usually take 2 days to go down but 1 day to drive back. Use to do 1 day down but I spent the 1st day resting from the drive.
