Just booked, 1st time @ FW renting a Wildcat 5th wheel from Campatthefort.

Have a wonderful time - it's a beautiful campground. There's no other one that I'll pay the site prices for, like the Fort :scared1: Don't really count on enjoying hot chocolate on the porch in March :confused3 It can be nice and it can be hot and humid like summer :lmao: But, I do  the summers. I do not like the cold  I live too far north in NC. LOL

I know I'm not crazy about the cold either lol - we're in Colorado & the kids had a snow day yesterday & brrrrr was it cold. Even if it's a little warm I might just have that hot chocolate anyway. ;)

We definitely want to see the Fireworks -that sounds awesome! We're not doing any parks, but we might ride one of the boats to WL. We are going to let DS rent one of those small boats because the last time he was there he wasn't old enough to drive one.

He's excited though that he finally got his drivers license & will be able to drive the golf cart we're going to rent.

I'm sorry I didn't quote anything on here (I read through and wanted to reply but am too lazy to go back and quote), but your trip sounds so great!! FW then a cruise?! SWEET!!! Congrats on your sons' accomplishments. :goodvibes

FW must dos: We always eat dinner at Trails End on arrival night. Nice way to relax with comfort food after a busy arrival day and get into the FW 'mood'.

Resort hopping. We walked to WL and boated back. Very nice way to spend some time. We also drive over to POFQ and have coffee and beignets out at a table in the courtyard and just enjoy people watching.

Campfire. Must do one night, even if you don't stay for the whole movie. Even the older kids enjoy watching the goings on and the sing along is fun for everyone...and there is always S'MORES (you can buy a pack there or bring your own). Is there anything better than a S'more?!

I agree with the fireworks and electric water parade. We love that.

The very best thing that is a must do at the Fort: relaxing!!! :thumbsup2

Hope you have a very magical trip! :goodvibes

Here's another vote for Hoop Dee Doo. :thumbsup2

HDDR isn't a kid-oriented character event like Mickey's Backyard BBQ.

Your DS may be 18 but he and DH will love HDDR. It it a lot of corny fun, food is good, and anyone will thoroughly enjoy it.

My other vote would be for a picture with Chip & Dale at the singalong. (I sit in the front of one section and get a picture with one, then hustle back to the bleacher side of the other for a second picture).
