Oh yeah. I plan on going to Costco on December 23 and I think that I may pick up some movie passes so they can go to the movie a few time. I will use them as gifts to them.

I love those Costco movie tickets. Makes it so much cheaper. Instead of close to $50 for the movie and snacks, it's only $25. Good idea for gifts too!

And I will get some for me. I want to see Narnia still I would more than willingly see HP again and I want to see Tangled. Maybe I will get some for Bawb too(Loren's bff.)

I honestly never knew Costco sold movie tickets.

:thumbsup2 I want to see Narnia too. And I can use it for DMR points! I still need to submit my tickets for Tangled but I never got to upload them when they gave me my first code that I wrote on the tickets and now it;s giving me a different code and they haven't responded back if I can still use them. I'll be very PO'ed if I can't. Their new system for redeeming movie tickets is absolute poop.

OK, insert big bad word here!! I just smashed my left hand into something and it hurts so much it's making me nauseous. Ow, ow, ow, ow!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OWWW!!!

Oh ouch. I hope it's not broken.

Yeah, they sell two tickets for like $15.99, that makes it an excellent deal.

Oh no! I hope you didn't break something. Hopefully it will just be a bruise. Breaking bones is not fun. I know for certain...and it was my left hand too funnily enough.

Yeah Costcos tickets are awesome. For $25 (might be different there) you get 2 admissions, a large popcorn and 2 drinks. For us, one admission is $10.90, popcorn is around $6 or $7, and drinks are usually $5 or $6 each. So you save quite a bit.

I don't think it is. And it's not swolen or anything. I can bend the finger I hit straigt on a little bit but it's still throbbing. Ive never broken anything that mattered before but boy did I get light headed over this.

And that is a good deal over some places! I generally only go to a theater that sells tickets for their first matinee of any movie for only $6.25 which is when I almost always go! I love that price. Maybe I'll go see the new Narnia tomorrow morning.

I don't ever want to break anything! Especially my hand with my job. I need my hands! But I think I'm n the clear. We'll see.

I'll have to see if we sell the them here that come with the snacks as well. We usually refrain from getting any.

OK, typing with 1 hand is dumb.

Our matinee prices are $8 normally or they were last time I went to the movies.

Typing with one hand is definitely dumb. So is writing with the hand you don't normally use. Glad to hear it's probably not broken. It can be very difficult to deal with. And hospitals are no fun either.

Our matinees are $6.95 in Red Deer, Calgary they are a bit more. We have a theatre that all the older movies move to once theres no room at the bigger theatre, and movies are $5 normally and $3 for matinees and Tuesdays. We usually wait until movies go there, unless we really really want to see it when it first comes out.

Do you have a Regal cinemas or an AMC movie theater in your area? Those are the tickets that Costco sells. The AMC one you can get a deal with two tickets, two sodas and a small popcorn. With the Regal you can get 2 movie tickets and a ten dollar gift card for the snack counter. Or you can just get the movie tickets. Which according to the website it is like $33 for 4.

At our only theater it is $8 for the movies before five and like $11 for after 5.

Ouch. I hate movie theater prices. I miss the day when my mother worked for a chain and I could get in all day for free. I usually go to Century/Cinnemark. Their matinee is like $7.50 but the thing I do is what they call their "early bird special" and it's for the very first show of each movie.

Thankfully, even if it was broken it's not my writing hand. But I do need both hands for my job.

Sigh. It's definitely gonna be a little bruised. I might have sprained the finger too. The knuckle area is a little purplish like every other time I sprained that finger. Poor thing gets beaten up a lot.

I can't say that I've ever sprained anything. I rolled my ankle once, and that was pretty close, and so painful. And other than my fingers the one time, I have never broken anything or even had stitches (except again for that one awful night). It's kind of amazing that I haven't, cause I am a huge klutz. And it's funny cause my broken bones weren't even my fault. I was being given a piggy back ride and he tripped. First and last piggy back ride! I won't even let anyone pick me up off the ground anymore, lol.

Poor Jazz! I'm really surprised you haven't broken anything yet! ;)

I haven't sprained or broken anything yet. *knock on wood* But I have gotten stitches more times than I'd like.

Yeah, I would like to refrain from breaking anything other than my toe (which I don't think coutned because they couldn't do anything for it) and stay very very very very far away from stitches! Considering the klutz that I am (hey ... somebody owes me for not running into anything at DLR) it's a shock to me that I haven't seriously injured myself before. Knock on wood! Stitches cuh-reep me out though. The thought of ... NO! Gross. Nevermind.

^^ What do you think this was for? ;)

I was just teasin'! Maybe Duffy can make my finger all better!

Speaking of Duffy, I now have a lot of requests to bring a Duffy home for people!
