This will be a quick post, using my iPhone and it sucks to type. We are at LAX waiting for our flight to Sydney. We had a great 3 days at Disneyland, and the weather was warm and sunny.

Jazz, I hope they payout on your car quickly. We have a Toyota (a yaris, which is smaller than a corolla), we've had it 2 years and love it. Mileage was, it costs $33 USD to fill (11 gallons) and we drove from BC to Portland on one tank. Well over 300 miles on a tank of gas.

The part that decides to wake up before the sun comes up

I hate it when that happens. My DH can sleep till noon on his day offs. I don't get to sleep past 8, I have to get up and take care of my little ones.

Today I found a train for my yard display. It's over 5' long and I only paid $23 for it, I found it at Michaels.

Today I found a train for my yard display. It's over 5' long and I only paid $23 for it, I found it at Michaels.

How on earth anyone can sleep past noon I will never know! I usually can't, even when I'm up all night for my overnight shift. This week was an anomaly for me! I'll blame it on all of the years waking up at 5a.

Sun is out here again today, but we have also been warned about a big snow storm coming tonight, so I guess I should try and enjoy it while it lasts. And let's hope the storm isn't too bad.

Im not sure which one I would prefer, rain or snow. Probably snow, cause you don't get soaking wet in seconds if you're out in it. I hate rain, cause I get cold fast and once I am wet, I am freezing for the rest of the day. 3 of our days at DLR I was freezing! Lol.

You have a very good point there. But for me between rain or snow I would pick the rain. Me and snow do not get along well. Snow would mean it is way, way, way, way, way too cold for me!

That's why I wear layers, lol. And it's not so bad if you just have to go from the car to the house, or wherever you are. It's if you have to be out there for long periods of time that would be a problem. I don't like having to scrape off my car every morning, cause usually I can't feel my fingers by the time i'm done, even though I wear wool mitts!

I bet you hate that! I hate having to scape a little ice off the windshield here in California, I can't imagine having to do more than that in Canada. My poor fingers would probably fall off. But I'm not a good layer-wearer. It's why I prefer the summer. Layers don't always keep me warm, regardless of how many I have on and I can never find the right balance. It drives me nuts. I'm either too hot which makes me feel dizzy or too cold.

Layers keep me warm, except for when it comes to my feet. Lots of people wear like 2 or 3 pairs of socks at once, and I can't stand that. For one, it just feels wrong, and two, it actually makes it worse for my feet when they're cold for some reason. But sweaters and hoodies I love. They are the best!

Today was actually the first day in about 2 months I didnt have to scrape off my car in the morning. It was nice to not have to freeze my hands today. It's really warm out today. Supposed to get above freezing for once. But then there's that storm coming our way that I am not so happy about.

Maybe you will get some sun today. It's always kind of depressing when it's not out, whether it's snowing or raining or just grey. But it makes for a good reason to stay inside and watch movies!

I don't know about you but there's only so many movies I can stay in and watch before I get a little stir-crazy!! It doesn't help I have been editing photos all day for a while now. I need to get out a little more, I think.

I do have some errands I have to do today. I want to get to CVS to print out some photos of me and Mickey Mouse to send in my cards to my grandmother and my dad. I feel like there's something else I'm supposed to do as well. But I'm totally spacing out! So I'll just keep working on my new TR.

We watched 3 movies on Sunday because we were passing time until Dexter came on, and I can see what you mean. It was nice to just do nothing, but after two, I had to get up and do something before watching another, lol.

Naw, I set it back up a while ago. I was debating taking it all down, but me without a TR is almost like me without my camera. It just didn't feel right. So I've got a new thread and I re-posted the September trip and I'm now about halfway through last weeks visit.
