Well, I had my excitement for the weekend. Someone egged my van in the driveway last night. Mind you ours was the only vehicle around that was egged so I am sure that it was someone who has an issue with one of my kids. Somehow this doesn't seem quite fair to me.

I would go for it on the Prius. That is a good way to change your carbon footprint on the world. I can be such a hippie.

Definitely, and I can really afford it so I have no reason not to go for it. I just need the yes from my brother's boss. This will seriously help me lower the amount of money that I spend on gas each week.

And it is the perfect car for driving through the mountains too.

Welllll going down on the other side will be good and it probably wouldn't need the engine, but going up the mountains will use gas just like any car. So I could be saving a lot more gas money if my commute were different. I'll still be saving, but not as much as I could if I had a smoother drive.

We got our tree. It is very... Seussian. It's very tall(just a hair short of hitting the 8' ceiling), and on the narrower side but with random bits sticking out in a crookedy sort of way. It sounds awfully weird but I love it for that.

In other exciting news... I believe that I am buying myself a Prius for Christmas. My brother's shop bought it off of a customer who didn't want to pay for it to be fixed. All it needs is a new battery(and a good cleaning apparently). If I'm the one buying(which I've already said I will, I just don't want to get my hopes up too high) then I would only have to pay for the cost of the battery and my brother would do the labor for freehug. He said he could probably get it done this week. This would be the first car that is actually mine and not a parental loaner. Cross your fingers for me!!

And I hope you share photos of your tree when all is said and done. Sounds like it's got character!!

Friday night was fun at the karaoke bar was fun. I didn't get up to sing, but we all sang along. I did end having a couple (well, really 3) shots and I'm not a major drinker other than wine/beer so wow ... I was feeling that! No worries, I got a ride there and shared a cab back, but whoa - my whole Saturday was pretty much recovery At night we did go driving around the 'hood looking at Christmas lights. I love Christmas lights There's a couple of houses near us that do this coordinated light show set to music. It's pretty impressive! They have a website Photo from their website:

Today just was clean-up, chill time. One of my girlfriends is coming over with one of her sons to share a spaghetti dinner with us. DH is the cook, thus why *I'm* on the computer

And oh! Chocolate peppermint fans. I picked up this cookie dough at Safeway the other day and baked it today. They're pretty yummy! I liked the fact that it's more natural, no trans-fat. And super easy, just plop 'em in the oven

Man, my cat must have missed me while I was gone. She's been all over me, moreso than usual lately. She just pushed her way onto my lap again, ousting my laptop as she usually does. She's gotta have her way if she can.

My dad brought donuts home with him from work this morning. I so want to go have another one!

I have a massive cat allergy, my best friend has a cat that isn't meant to have allergy causing fur but of course I still get sick from it.

Super. I took my little one to look at christmas lights, when I came home DH was already asleep. Watching White Christams right now.

Today just has been a totally sucky day. First my van gets egged during the night and that is what I wake up to at 6am and then when WBG was coming home from work he was in a hit and run accident. Thankfully my van wasn't really damaged, and what little there was it can be buffed out.

I hope my karma is much better tomorrow.

Good evening all. I finished the outside of my house for christmas decor. It's very festive. One of these days I'm going to figure out how to do the dancing lights.

We went light looking again. We found a house that did Nightmare Before Christmas. The penguins had spider broches, there was a spider web trung by hand in the shape of a giant web. The reindeer were purple and pulling a plush coffin with Zero in the back. They even had a major of halloween town and a jack dressed as santa clause.

My Dad always felt special when his house was TP'd. The time and effort is takes to do it properly means that who ever did it spent a lot of time out of their evening to decorate my dad's house.
