Just Became an Owner at Aulani!!

We have been toying with becoming an owner for years and finally decided that the combo of Disney and Hawaii was too good to pass up!! We became owners on Sunday. We are SO excited, especially with our first trip coming up in November. We've been doing a lot of reading here and on other boards for tips/hints for making the most out of your points. We hope to go to WDW Fall 2012 (possibly on a land/sea vacation) and any reccos you can make about that would be appreciated!

Did you buy or rather order your points from the Pasadena event? On Saturday, they could not sell Aulani points due to some papers that had to be rewritten with the State of Hawaii.

Yes, we were at the Pasadena event on Sunday.

We went on Saturday with my DB and DSIL. My DSIL wanted to buy immediately but we have some family issues to solve first. I told her we would try the 7 month with our SSR points first. BUT she was on her way , it was probably good that we couldn't give anyone any money.

Can't wait to make our first reservation at 7 months.

Just to ask, what are they getting per point, I saw someone said in an email list I am in that they were told it was $140 per point which seems totally incorrect

Congrats! We were in Oahu last month and got to tour Aulani.. it is awesome!! I so wish we had been staying there!! it didnt help our balcony overlooked the Aulani pools etc. at night it is so cool with the lights on the pool!!!

You wont be disappointed!!
