We were a party of 6 and were at Disney World April 1-8. We were on the dining plan & I have to say that all the restaurants we ate at were very good. My grand daughters favorite restaurant was Teppan Edo in Japan. The chef was very good!
We ate at:
Akershus Hall - food was good & princesses gracious
BOG for breakfast - 8:05am - getting into MK early was neat & food was ok
Chef Mickey Brunch - breakfast & lunch food - characters were funny & great
Flame Tree BQ - ribs were delicious but 3 racks?!
Yak & Yeti - excellent service & the steak & shrimp were delicious!
Hollywood & Vine - Minnie's springtime dine - Special pic with Daisy and all the other characters - food was good - I like the mini desserts so I could try several....
Tony's Town Square for lunch was a real surprise. Reviews haven't been that good here. Appetizers - salad & calamari were amazing! Entrees - steak, pasta primavera with shrimp was excellent & desserts yummy - very good!!
Teppan Edo & Sunshine Seasons in Epcot were both excellent!
Finally, Raglan Road in Disney Springs was a ball! We were in the main dining room. The show was fun and my granddaughter got to dance on stage-food was excellent.
With all the snacks, mug and these restaurants & during this high price time, we thought we got our $$ worth with the dining plan!

Thanks for sharing! We are finally going back to WDW in late October after being away for 7 years and are anxious to try some new restaurants on the dining plan. Teppan Edo was my personal favorite (only dined there once but was great experience). We haven't dined at BOG yet and aren't sure whether to do lunch or dinner. Yak & Yeti for dinner is our #1 choice while at AK (the steak & shrimp are top choices for half of our group).

My oldest son would love to dine at Raglan Road given our Irish background so glad to know you recommend it. Would you recommend anything in particular to choose there for an entree?

I wasn't going to choose the dining plan but my youngest sons (in the 20's) love the option of choosing a pricey steak or shrimp dinner without having to worry about the price. Vacation time is our splurge time!

Sounds like a DELICIOUS trip! MMMMM

I would love to see Minnie's Springtime Dine, but it's already WAAAAAAAAY too hot in FL for my DD. She became a melty, uncooperative mess as soon as the temps got past the 70's... and that was TWO days in January! :D
