We returned from last week of October. It was our fourth visit in the last five years.

1). We loved the Magic Bands. So convenient! We noticed a few lines backed up at FP entrance here and there but it moved quickly...so it appeared backed up but really was not a delay. Our food and dining plan credits were more accurate then ever before so magic band touch to pay didn't hurt us at all!

2) We were FiNE with our 3 FP+ eveywhere except one day at MK...I wasted a FP+ on Rapunzel (line wasn't that long but I thought it was...) so we needed one for jungle cruise in late afternoon (so we pulled the traditional one!). We loved the ability to change FP+ throughout the day. I did get a blip message while doing it several times but if I got out and back in all was good. Once the New FP didn't show up in their system but when I showed it in my plans on my iPhone they let us through, so a few glitches but solid work around a this far,

3) crowds were heavier than when we go in early December bit not heavy at all. touring plans had us at a solid 4 each day and with rope drop, FP+, and a touring plan we didn't wait for anything more than 5-10 minutes.

4). We did not like MNSSHP. We went halloween night We were so surprised that it wasn't for us! I think the kids missed their house to house trick or treating...standing in line for a drop of candy (that wasn't nearly as nice as our neighbors give out) was disappointing. The humidity and heat were high making everyone hot...my son stripped his costume off and asked to go back to the resort at 8:30pm. We hung in there for the night but wouldn't do it again. The parade was cool though ;)

5). We had lots of luck...my son fought Capt'n Jack, danced with Belle, my son and daughter were in the .lion .king show, I was in the Indy Show, and we had some cute character interactions. We should have tried for family of the day with our luck but 11/1 was the boy day to try and we were too tired from the party the night prior :(

6). Guests were great! We didn't encounter any rudeness! And my daughter had a few afternoon intense meltdowns due to be overstimulated and not able to settle for naps. I sat outside of mama Melrose with her screaming at me "don't touch me! touch me! don't Touch me!" At the top of her lungs and it was a scene worthy of nasty looks and yet all we got were sympathetic smiles or averted eyes.

7). Cast Members were okay. We had a great server, George at Mama Melrose who was exceptionally patient with us and our daughter! A new fairy godmother I training who my daughter thought was Rapunzel was wonderful at BBB, and was prettier than most princesses ;) We did hear one CM loudly making fun of the greedy guests pulling FPs while wearing their magic bands. Another gave us a hard time about my DD who turned 3 while there but was an infant on the plan. She is a great talker and I understand people think she is older but the waitress actually said she needed to talk to her manager when we corrected the charge for her breakfast. It all worked out but I could tell she thought we were scammers. Overall the dining staff at both counter and table service were the best and the line attendants were the crankiness :).

8). Love the new street entertainment at MK...the giggle clowns, royal court, and wowzer all made it a little more magical. I hope they add more of this sort to MK! Could use something in frontierland!

9) if visiting without MB thenridesmyou need to get on or FP for at rope drop are just a few...Test Track, Soarin, Rock n Roll Coaster, Toy Story Mania. Those ran out of FPs pretty early and had longer standby lines than usual during our visit. Magic Kingdom see,a to have enough FP options that we noticed little difference in lines for both FP and Standby for any attraction.

Wile we are glad we went we will go back to our December timing where humidity is typically lower :). I don't see how people do Disney in the summer...my family is not cut out for the heat :)

Thanks for your report. Adds a bit more excitement for our trip, the plane leaves in 4½ weeks!!! :cool1:

Thanks for comparing crowds to early December. That's when we normally go as well. Next year we are going the first week of November instead. Sounds like you had a great trip!! :thumbsup2
