Just back....YC, BCV and POFQ

This trip it was DD, DM, DH and myself....

1st night was YC....checkin was a little scary...They cancelled my
ressie This was after sitting on ME bus for half hour
at BW because driver didn't know how to open handicap door
Just a computer glitch....after a stressfull half hour of computer work...
they "rebooked" room...
All was well....room ready at 12 Room 3131...standard view..
Well awesome view of the boardwalk....right above wedding gazebo.

I was not impressed with the room....It felt barebones
25" Tv just sitting on dresser....I thought the YC would feel
more luxurious....
Anyway next day we check into BCV....Rm 473...1BR...niiiice..
Now that is a long hallway....1 room from the very end...
I was rewarded with a view of the "globe" and illuminations.

Stormalong bay is really fun....but...IMO it is too much walking
around pool area...my DD5 wanted to go on slide....It is
a hike to get there....
I like a pool better when I can watch her and not have to get out.
I'm really happy I tried Y&BC....but I am happy my "home"
is the WL...
I only took 1 bus from here to M.K.....it only shared with YC..

Next POFQ....I love this place...in the heat....I was happy to not
have along walk in the heat...
the pool is a lot of fun...nice shady spot under the dragon

Buses....We did not wait long....but it did seem real crowded...
2x bus filled up at POFQ and DID NOT GO TO POR...
also going to typhoon lagoon/DTD....bus was full when it pulled up....
People on it said they came from POR 1st
Going to MK...we took a disney cruise line bus.....
also a cruise bus for ME...
I noticed a lot of old buses running....I think they had a hard time
keeping up..

All in all it was a great trip.....I survived the heat....
If I ever go in the heat of summer again....I might stay where
I said I would NEVER STAY....CR....
I figure the monorail goes inside...so I will have minimal walking

I stayed in that exact room at BCV last December and it was a loooooong walk. It was nice to see both Wishes and Illuminations from the balcony though, especially since they were both in holiday mode.

We spent a couple of nights at POFQ before our stay at BCV and our DtD/TL driver told us all buses go to POFQ fist except the DtD/TL bus, it always stops at POR first. I don't know if it's always true but it was for our stay.
