We just got back abt two hours ago (can you say DIS addict?) but I had to post! Ben was SO good on the plane and all trip! He napped in the stroller, he wasn't scared of ANYTHING, and just had a ball!!!

I highly recommend doing as many character breakfasts as you can afford. One thing that he did not do well is eat (and he is a BIG boy, 36 inches and 32 lbs at 15 mos!), but at the buffets they have so many different things, at least one worked! The characters entertained him, and mom and dad got to eat in peace! I scheduled them at 10:30ish, so it was more of a brunch where we didn't need to buy lunch too. We did Chef Mickey's (this morning, though it feels like a lifetime ago already!) and Crystal Palace (yummy!) twice.

One big tip I have is to pack bubbles in your bag for lines. They kept my son and every other kid in the area happy!

I will post more later, but I need some SLEEP!!

(getting ready to plan again - YEAH!!)

I'm so glad you had a great trip- we leave on Monday and I have secrectly been worried about our youngest (17 mo old) and how he would handle all the stroller time, waiting in line, etc.

It's funny how you mentioned bubbles- I had them packed and then took them out. On what rides/attractions did you use them. Also- how were wait times and the weather?

Glad you had fun- too bad you had to come back to reality.

We just used the bubbles whenever we were outside waiting for a ride and he got cranky. Another thing we bought that he LOVED was the light up twirly pooh thingy (you will see them everywhere!). We brought that out when we were inside and it was darker. The only real problem we had was the lines, because our son is so heavy! We used baby swap whenever it was available - the ones we used gave us a special fast pass, so we didn't even need to wait with Ben in line. So one of us went on, and the other walked around stores, etc. We usually did that when he was asleep.

Have fun!!

Thanks for the great information! We are taking our little boy in May and he will be 13 months old then. I have a question for you about the rides that use Fastpass for the baby swap. Does one of you wait in the regular line first and then the second one gets a Fastpass, or does the first parent go through the Fastpass line and then the second parent goes through the Fastpass line? Does that make sense? I guess I'm asking if the first parent has to wait in the regular line or not.

Great idea for the bubbles! We leave in a week so I will be using that tip!

The first parent waits in the regular line, and the second gets a fastpass. If we didn't want to wait, we both got regular fast passes and came back.

Two more things (now that I am awake!) -

Milk costs the same at the parks and at a WDW resort, so we didn't mess with coolers. (WARNING! WARNING! $1.99 per PINT!).

We had mugs for POP, so we weren't planning on using our Quick and Casuals there, but they let me get milk as the drink. The had half-pints, too, but I got pints without question both times. (Again, wayyyy overpriced milk!)
