i just came back from 8 days in orlando, 6 days at disney, so if anyone has any questions just ask!!

I just got back, too. Our family's first trip to Disney World and we had a great time. I was just wondering how the crowds were compared to when you have been in the past. We had great luck using FP and hardly waited for anything. I wasn't sure if that was because the crowds were realtively low or what. Parts of the parks seemed crowded but not having anything to compare to I wasn't sure. Thanks for your input

Just wondering...how was the crowds and where did you stay...
Did you go to the marketplace and do you know if Cirque is still offering a discount on tickets?? Thanks for the info..:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

can you tell me when Cinderella's Surprise Celebration
is and where it takes place:confused:
thanks
Kim

Cinderella's Surprise Celebration takes place in front of her castle. When we were there last week the posted times were 9:45, 10:45, 11:45, 4:40, 5:40 and 6:40. We caught the tail end of one of them and it was really cute. Got some great photos of the characters in front of the castle.

Hi!! Was there any talk about Pepsi? Someone told us that if we were carrying a Pepsi product that there were some kinds of discounts given out. Is this true?:)

Sorry, I didn't notice anything about Pepsi, but that would be great if they were offering something like that.

Coke is the official soft drink of WDW, so I don't think there are any pepsi deals (unless they have switched).

You didn't happen to catch Arlo Guthrie at Flower Power, did you? If so, was it great?

Pat

lorilou, i thought the crowds wernt bad either, certian rides at certain times can be a long wait, but if you use fast pass, and play your timing right it wasnt bad, but i have been at disney when the corwds were a lot less. wenlitz, i stayed outside the park right on 192 at the radisson resort parkway, i have stayed there before, and we liked it, and sorry we didnt go to cirque so i dont know about your question, h&hmommy, im not sure about your question either but im sure they have the times posted on the disney website.
And yes coke is still the official soft drink of wdw, they havnt switched... anything else anyone want to know??

Pat, I thought Arlo Guthrie was the last in the Flower Power concert series, sometime in August. Did it change? We saw Starship in May and they were great. Looking at the list of shows, my husband wanted to stay for the whole summer to see them all, but he especially was interested in Arlo Guthrie and thought of a quick trip back just to see him. But we thought it was August. Any ideas???

Actually, Arlo Guthrie was the last Flower Power show, he was there June 6,7 & 8. Flower & Garden Show ended on June 8th.

Thanks Eljay. Boy did we get that wrong. We knew it was the last show, but how we got August out of it, I'll never know!

How was the weather? This time of year, every day on the Weather Channel on-line shows isolated or scattered thunderstorms. Was it rainy??

We are leaving next Friday and I was just wondering about the weather conditions and if you found that MK was more crowded than the other parks . . .

Also, did you fly out of Bradley? Was wondering how the new terminal looked and if it took longer now with the unlocked baggage.

Wish Upon A Star, we flew out of Bradley. We flew Southwest which is in the new terminal. It is very nice. It had only been open a day or two when we went. There are a few places to eat but not all of them were open when we were there. Also there is a Brooks Brothers store, but was pretty expensive, of course! I didn't notice any delays because of unlocked baggage. There was curbside check in and the security checks inside went very smoothly. You are from Wallingford?? I am in Southington!

wishaponastar: we flew with delta airlines and they didnt check our bags and it was really smooth, but it was also 6 in the morning, the orlando airport was horrendous, even though it does make me feel better that they are thurough with the security, they make you take your shoes off, and they go through your bags, and all the people we encountered were really snotty and mean, even the people that worked for delta in orlando, it was terrible, as for the weather, it will say scattered showers everyday, and they are only for a few hours at the most, sometimes only for a few minutes, we tryed doing the poncho thing, but got even more wet and our feel gor soaked, and the ponchos are really uncomfortable, i suggest umbrellas, we got good cheap ones for 3 dollars at walmart and i thought it kept me dryer, and my feel wernt soaked.
