Hello everyone 
Dh and I just got back today from our first ever trip to Disneyland 
We had a great time!! We stayed at the CCI and loved it. The room was very clean, the beds were super comfy, and the walk to DL was a breeze. My Dh's only complaint was the soap they provided, he suggests you bring your own
We loved DL, enjoyed the rides and shows we saw. I love POC in WDW and loved it even more at DL, I wish they could add some of the extras to WDW's version, oh well I made my poor, long suffering DH ride it with me 6 times the two days we spent at DL . I thought the parade was great, and the fireworks show was AWESOME!!!!!
We rode Mr Toad's Wild Ride, thought it was really wild, it gave me a little headache actually 
Loved Small World, the outside facade was fantastic, Materhorn was really fun as well. Never made it on Nemo, couldn't stomache the wait. The one complaint we both had was the all the gripping we heard from the CM's, complaining about there day, counting down to quitting time, got on our nerves after awhile. It wasn't all the CM's, we met some really great ones who were super helpful and friendly, but we heard enough complaints that we remembered it. For all the money we paid getting there and into the parks, we like to live the fantasy that we are in the Happiest Place on Earth.
DCA was a nice park, not that in love with it though. Did ride Soaring 4 times, love that ride. DH loved California Screamin'. I rode Tower of Terror for the first and probably last time, haha...
Can't get the songs from HSM2 out of my head 
Overall we had three fun days at DLR, have the 500 pics, 20 pressed pennies and sunburn to prove it. But we will probably not be going back, we just love WDW so much more, but we are super glad we had the chance to check out the original and encourage anyone else who has the chance to do so as well.

We were at DL August 30th and DCA and DL September 2nd. Glad you had a great time, we did too!
