Just back, TL;DR trippy

Hi Friends,

Just back from a week at WL (Jan 4-9). Quick thoughts:

• Lodge is beautiful and no scaffolding in sight, at least in main building pool areas.
• Weather was wonderful, with sun and daily high in low 80s. Makes me think, despite the insects and state g'ment, Florida may be a good place to consider to spend at least some of our retirement.
• People will swim when temps are in 60s (pools are heated but not "warm")
• Christmas music and decor after Jan 6, especially when weather is beautiful, was a bit odd (at WL the tree was down by 1.7)
• Having boat transport is amazing as always, not sure how things will be for WL resort visitors when it's bus service only. We did not take bus while there.
• Best dessert, hands down, was the fried wonton/pineapple skewers from Yak and Yeti.
• Rides broke down more than I can remember.
• I'm not sure how I can equal the number of steps taken daily during a WDW vacation.
• We will be back.
