It's awesome and a great deal!!!
Our trip was me, my mom, ds8 and dd5. Sure, you can spend less money if not on the ddp and you want to share cs and share snacks and buy a double burger and an extra bun and share, etc. etc., but we thought the DDP was fantastic. It allowed us to eat awesome food, not worry about the exact cost of each item and save money!
We got $780 worth of food and the plan would've cost us ....not sure...around $500-$550 for the 5 nights.
We thought using a CS for breakfast worked out pretty well.
We'd get omelets with homefries and a muffin, orange juice and a bottle of water to go. We'd take the muffin for a snack for later and the bottle of water for the parks. The kids either got the Mickey Waffle or sometimes my son would use 2 snack credits and get a fruit cup and a muffin.
We usually used the TS for lunch around 1:30 or 2:00.
We then used some CS for dinner but sometimes snack credits-depending.
In addition to the meal plan, we spent about $40 on additional snacks (water here and there, fruit, a few muffins for the last morning)
Places we eat and what we thought:
CS
Pepper market-excellent
Cosmic Rays-very good
TS
Teppan Edo-awesome!!!
Tusker House Lunch-excellent
Maya Grill-awesome
Crystal Palace-very good
Sci Fi-my sandwich was not so great, but everyting else was very good
