Wow....we just got back from 10 days in WDW and that's all I can say. Wow.
Really amazing place.
My impression overall is that MK is just not as good as Disneyland, but I'm probably biased...
Stuff like the poor Small World building, odd (and truncated) Pirates, no Alice, no New Orleans Square, no Indy...the worst part to me was the way the lands blended together... @ DL, when you're in Fantasyland, you can't see any other lands...it was odd to me to be standing at the teacups and looking at them, a Tomorrowland-themed restaurant, Toontown, Space Mountain and the Castle. But that's just me....
OBVIOUSLY, WDW blows what we have here in CA out of the water by its sheer size and scope... but there's something special about DL. DCA, on the other hand: an embarassment.
Thanks again to all for the advice and tips.
In the end, we really tossed out all the planning and just went when/where we wanted. Had a few PS (SciFi, Chef Mickey's)... other than that. The crowds were non-existent, and the AKL buses so perfect, we just went wherever the kids wanted...

P.S. in 10 days, we got sprinkled on once by a light drizzle.
