Hi everyone

We (DH and I) just returned from our first trip (Nov 12-19th) and I want to thank everyone for all the advice :goodvibes

Just a couple of things I wanted to let everyone know:

We made no no ADRs and got tables at all the TS restaurants we wanted!

We walked into Fantasmic 15 mins before it started and were seated at in the middle section, about halfway up (I loved this show) :)

The longest wait for a ride was at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - It had broken down for a bit, so we grabbed a Fastpass and came back a couple of hours later. In fact, for all the rides the waits were 10-15 mins max! :teeth:

Our MK day was very quiet - we had done all the rides except BTMR by noon, and had very short lines for meeting all the characters (except princesses - I never did get a chance to meet any) and Wishes was certainly more than I expected it to be (I admit, I did get a little emotional at the end  )

We LOVED the Adventurer's Club - Kungaloosh!!!

All in all, it was a wonderful trip

Thank you again for all the great advice - can't wait to plan my next trip! :flower:

Sounds like you had magical trip, thank you for sharing your thoughts. :cool1: :goodvibes :wizard: :wave2:

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I think you had the same kind of crowd levels we should have the week after Thanksgiving.

OP,
Can you tell me what day you were at MK???
Glad you had a great trip!
We leave in 7 days.

Thanks

we werer there the same time (13-15) and were too amazed that there was nobocy around. we were there a month before (oct 16-19) and it was packed. and a month before that we were there for 2.5 weeks (aug 31-sept 16) and it was empty. its really wierd how things can be so different only a few weeks apart.

We were at MK on Tues the 15th :goodvibes

I forgot to add that no-one was in the staging area at the Judge's Tent - people were walking in and noticing that it was empty, so they would walk out not knowing that Mickey was indeed home.... we walked right up to the front and were let in right away to be the first to see him!!! :earboy2:

So nice to hear you had a great trip! Had you tried to make reservations ahead of time for your TS meals and failed? Im just wondering because we last visited in Feb. and I couldn't get the TS meals I wanted ahead of time through dining, but when we got there we had no trouble getting anything we wanted either. Now we are leaving on the 25th (of this month) and Im having the same problem again. I hope we have as much pixie dust as you did!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

No, we just played it by ear :earsgirl:
We generally ate at off hours though, but for the most part there were empty seats everywhere. :)

I'll have ADR's for our next trip, just in case, but that's only because I've scoped out so many places now! :sunny:

We were in MK on Tues. also! Wasn't it wonderful!! We rode splash 3 times in a row and walked on many things. For some reason BTMR still had a line most of the day but we used FP for that. Unfortunatly we took an afternoon break on this day! I hated to do it since I knew that it was going to be a slow day in the park but my DD and I had been on our feet for 16 hours on Sat. for super soap then on Sun and Mon in the parks and my feet just couldn't take it any longer! This was also our 6th day in Disney and we still hadn't went for a swim yet and the kids wanted to do that.
But at least when we reentered the park it was still empty!

Question for the OP. Could you tell me the dates you were at WDW? Sounds like a great time to go for low crowd levels. We were there in October and it was packed. October seems to get busier and busier each year. Also, were you able to enjoy the Christmas decorations at the time you went? Any Christmas parties?

Thanks for any info. :teeth:

We always go at this time of year. Usually the second week of November - little earlier, little later, mebbe.

Always have had low crowds, no rain, moderate temps.

Oh NO! I just gave away my secret!
