Just back & rode the new POTC!

We got to ride the new POTC Saturday! It is awesome and the Captain Jack Sparrow looks just like Johnny Depp. We also saw the live pirate show they have outside POTC and that was really good also. Crowds weren't bad, and it wasn't too hot until Friday and Saturday. We also rode Expedition Everest--another great Disney ride but the backwards part is a bit much for my stomach!!

Yes it still has the drop. And I think it was a little different boarding the boats, I'll have to ask my DH for sure.

I saw a post around here somewhere that has a link to a video of the new parts of the ride. I watched it and couldn't believe how life like Jack Sparrow looks. Even the special effects before the drop are awesome. We can't wait till December to ride it.

I also rode it on Saturday - twice!

Boarding was the same except there was a scene to the right that I don't remember seeing before, but I'm not very observant and it could've been there all along and I never noticed it before.

They play the music from the movie at the beginning and it switches to "Yo Ho" later on.

The Captain Jack Sparrow's are so realistic, it's amazing!

And the special effect at the beginning is so cool!
