Character Breakfasts-

CRT- We realy enjoyed this one. The characters were Cinderella, Snow white, Sleeping beauty and Alladin. The food was very good and the characters gave the kids a lot of attention.

Donalds breakfast at AK- We really loved this breakfast, our waiter was a blast and really funny. The food was delicious.

Ohana- I didn't go to this one but my parents and sister/BIl did. they really loved it. They said the food was great and it was a really fun atmosphere.

1900 Park fare- This was my least favorite breakfast but everyone else loved it. The characters were Alice, Eeyore, Mad hatter and Pooh bear. The characters were great, especially Alice. everyone loved the food, I'm not sure why I didn't like it as much as the others, guess i was in a funk or something that morning-lol. My parents and BIL/sister even returned a second time, we slept in-lol.

Lunch-

Most of time we skipped lunch or ate a snack.

Chefs de France- loved this lunch. Wonderful onion soup and delicious sandwich.

Beaches and cream- We used the vouchers. very good burgers and delicious sundaes. They gave us the wrong sundae at first and then gave us the right one so we had an extra dessert for free.

Steak-n-Shake- offsite twice. I love this place, great food and great value.

Coral reef- parents/sister/BIL ate here and loved it.

Dinners-

Chef Mickeys- this was our first night, we walked up and got a table at 8:30 with a 10 minute wait, although they did ask if we were staying at the CR first, which we were. This was a lot of fun. My Dad who usuallu doesn't like buffets really liked it, he was surprised. We had a great time here.

Le Cellier- Yum, yum, yum!!!!!! This meal was awesome. The steak and service were incredible! Everyone loved it.

Garden Grill- last minute walk up for me and the kids. Told it would be a 35 minute wait, waited 10 minutes. This was a lot of fun. The characters were really great, Chip even sat down and colored with my kids. Food was pretty good, I mostly ate off the kids plate, DH loved the adult offerings.

Morroco-Same night Mom/dad/sister/BIL- they really loved this dinner. They split 2 of the feasts and had a great time.

Boma- AKL- We had a good dinner here. Didn't quite live up to all the hype and I thought the breakfast(on a previous trip) was better but then i'm a picky eater. Everyone enjoyed it.

Brown Derby- Fantasmic dinner package. If this wasn't a pre-priced package I wouldn't spend the money here, it was very expensive. The steak was good but small, it's one of those pay alot for a fancy dish kiinda places. My mom/sister and Dad LOVED this place because they love restaurants like this but like I said before I personally wouldn't pay for it if not with the package.

Alfredos in Italy- we had a GREAT meal here! For some reason it always seems to be better when I go with a large party. The food was delicious, portions large and service great!

Concourse Steakhouse- My least favorite meal. I didn't really care for my food but others seemed to enjoy it. Although all said that the steaks were much better at Le Cellier. The service was very good though.

'Ohana- Didn't disappoint! After all the wonderful reviews we heard I was afraid it wouldn't live up but it did! Everyone loved this place, the food was awesome, we saw the fireworks, the games were fun, it was a blast!

I'll poll everyone and add their pick for favorite later today.

Thanks for the reviews!
Beaches & Cream -- An extra dessert! GLORP! Sounds like the last thing you need there! But apparently you managed to choke it down somehow...
Garden Grill -- Disney restaurants in general don't seem to have a clue regarding wait times. On our 2001 trip we twice reported for a PS and were told to have a seat, but in less than a minute were called back to be seated! Garden Grill was one of them.

Great reviews! We are determined to get to Beaches and Cream this trip! Only 27 days!

Hi there...

You mentioned using vouchers at Beaches and Cream...

Is this counter service or table service?

When you order to you have to take your dessert with your meal right away or can you get it later... (you know, so you don't have to rush while it's melting)

Great reviews by the way...

Hi! We were just down last week. I wonder if we were at any of the same places? We tried the Concourse Steakhouse for the first time too, and weren't all that impressed either. The onion soup and the ceasar salad were good. I ordered my steak medium, and it was so well done I didn't even enjoy it. Our waitress took it off the bill since she saw that I hardly touched it. I may go there again one day, but order medium rare! :) We went to Boma for dinner too. There was a lot to choose from, and the food was good, but not that great. I also enjoy all of the other pastries at the dessert bar better than the zebra domes. Oh well, to each his own. It's sounds like you had a great trip. It's tough to be back in the real world again! :(

Thanks for the great review!

We are thinking about trying the Concourse Grille (1st time).
Usually for a great steak dinner we go to the YSH or Le Cellier.
We were planning on the Concourse Grille as our "something new" dinner -- now I am nervous.

catheren-don't be nervous about the Concourse Steakhouse. The food was good, although a bit well done. Just clarify with the waiter about how you would like your meat cooked. Each cook is has a different idea of medium and medium rare. Good luck! :0

Thanks for posting your reviews! I really want to try 'Ohana for dinner. :)

It's table service they have a sit down counter, big booths and small tables inside. It also has a to go counter with a seperate entrance. They don't even take your dessert order till after your finished with your food so don't worry about the melting thing, unless your a slow ice cream eater-lol.

It's tough to be back in the real world again!

I hear ya! Glad to hear you had a good time too!

Oh don't be nervous it wasn't bad at all. I was the only one who didn't like my food out of 6 adults. I had a steak and it was a good piece of meat and all but there was just something about the flavoring that I didn't like but my DH loved it and finished it off for me-lol. The service was great and they even brought out to complimentary pieces of chocolate cake for my sister and BIL B-days, I just mentioned the B-days when I made the PS.
