Hi Disers,
We're just back from a hot and sunny 5 day holiday. We had to switch our room after one night and this has put the brakes on any ideas of resort switching for me. You essentially lose part of your fully paid day if the room that you are going into isn't ready. I know for others this is no problem but I just found it to be a pain in the...
We enjoyed conc. as always and loved the LV. Our kids are small enough that jammies go on, out to the balcony at 9 for EWP and then watch the fireworks(if any) and right into bed. With that said, the beach is so accessible to all Poly guests and so inviting that it isn't necessary at all to have a LV to be part of the night time festivities.
We used the Neverland Club twice and went to Mgm, AK and MK twice.
We ate at 50's Prime time, Victoria and Albert's, Kona Cafe, Cinderella's breakfast, Hoop-Dee-Doo(did 7pm hayride but petting zoo closed at 5pm),Captain Cook's and the California Grill.
The concierge offerings were even of a greater variety this time for breakfast but I can't comment on the 5-7pm food since we didn't eat there. All in all a good trip but a little sad with all the talk about the deaths at the Contemporary and Grand Floridian last THurs. and Friday. I don't know any first hand details but some unnamed workers did share their stories and it made you feel so sad for the families.
