WDW Trip #22 ( and wondering how much longer our DDs will want to go to WDW with their still tryin' to be cool parents ).
It was very hot but actually bearable as less humidity during the day.
Crowded but if you planned it right, getting on the main attractions was ok.
POFQ was just ok ( I think we have gotten spoiled by WL which we couldn't get with the code). The room was nice and new but some of the buildings could use some sprucing up.
The resort was only selling the YOMD mugs, not the old style.
We were lucky and got found by the Dream Team. We received the plastic FastPass card at MGM when we walked into OMD. Yahoo!
I recently had to change my diet after surgery and was disappointed with the alternative food choices. I guess I never realized it till now, when it affected me. I do also think the food in general ( also the opinion of my wife and 16 & 20 Y/O daughters ) has gone downhill at counter service.
Soarin' still the best and Fastpasses were usually gone by 1PM.
The new sound system on the buses is pleasant. Unfortunatly we had the weirdest thing happen on the bus one day. Going back to POFQ from MGM, a man in a wheelchair got on the bus. By the time we and all the passengers got on the bus he was in a seat. He proceeded to take off his artificial leg and rub his stump and twirl it around for the entire trip. Now I am very sympathetic to his disability as I have experienced disabilities in my life whether it was my own temporary, my daughter's chemotherapy or that experienced by other children at CHOP and family members, but I was pretty upset. My girls are old enough to handle it but I felt bad for the kids who had to watch this obviously insensitive individual.
We did the Keys to the Kingdom tour. Nice tour and I felt for the CM who seemed to be losing it by the end of the 94-degree day.
Boma still our favorite and well worth the money.
Mousekeeping was spotty. Some days better than others. Not worth complaing about, though.
Wishes was great as usual. I wonder if Disney ever considered entering it into any competitions?
That's it for now.
Any questions? Any answers?

Glad you had a great time. Did you take the boat? I have a friend that drives one of the boats. I went once in Aug, but never again.

We did take the boat to Downtown twice but never back to POFQ. The lines back were so incredibly long, we took the bus. It was nice to see the Treehouse Villas along the shore;too bad they aren't offered to guests anymore. The boat captain said they were used to house foreign CM and interns.
