Hi everyone!

We just got back from a 7 nights/8 days at OKW and POP.
There were 9 of us (all over the age of 12) and we purchased the dining plan.
I worked out great! I figure we saved over $500.00 and we didn't even use all the Quick Service (Counter service) meals.

We ate Table service at:
Le Cellier in Canada
Boma at the AKL
Olivia's at OKW
Biergarten in Germany
California Grill in the Contemporary
Teppanyaki in Japan.

By far the best value of the dollar (and the best meals) were at Le Cellier and California Grill. :thumbsup2

We didn't have any problems with the dining plan at all. We had great service everywhere and the food was excellent everywhere. I'd do the dining plan again in a second!

Any questions, please ask away.... :Pinkbounc

No specific questions here, but you ate at a few places I have ADR's for, so I'd love some reviews! :goodvibes

How was Le Cellier? What did you get and how long was your wait with ADR (and time of your ADR)? Glad you had a great time. Can't wait for our trip in September!!!

Hope you had a great time. Can I ask why you did not use the CS? No time, too full?? Just curious. :confused3

Here are a couple of reviews:
As there were 9 of us, I know I can't remember over everyone's meals :) but I'll try to summarize

Sunday night: Le Cellier

We were there at 4:00pm, got seated (all together) by 4:15pm.
Excellent waiter, sorry don't remember his name.
Ordered an excellent Canadian merlot and my sister had a canadian Cab.Sav.
The guys ordered canadian beer. The teens had soda.
I ordered the Mussels with bacon as an appetizer, DH had the Cheese soup.
DS had the shrimp and my DD had the salad. Everyone enjoyed their appetizers.
We all had some kind of beef for the Entree except DD she had chicken. I had the 7 oz filet (superb), DH had the strip steak. Both were excellent.
DSis had also had the filet but hers was not quite as tender as mine. (Different cut). Actually DH was going to get the Prime Rib, but the waiter said that the strip steak was much better, so DH changed his order.
Dessert was great. DSis had the Maple Creme Brulee and I had the Choc. Cake. :cloud9: Both absolutely wonderful. My oldest DS (19) said that this was his favorite meal all week!

Monday - Boma at AKL
Lots of different foods on the buffet. Tried many new things, enjoyed the desserts esp. the banana bread pudding with vanilla sauce and the zebra domes. One observation is that it's very very loud and lots commotion. Not very relaxing for dinner.

Wednesday at Olivia's
Good food, nothing too spectacular except the Key Lime Tart! (To die for).
You'll see a trend ....I love desserts! :lmao:

Thursday at Biergarten
We've eaten here before. Always enjoy the food. My DS (19) says that Germany by far has a cutest girls! :rotfl:
Great fun with the dinner show and clinking mugs. Even my DH who was recovering from a one day intestinal bug, found some plain chicken, noodles to eat.

Friday at California Grill
Had reservations at 7:40, got seated at 8:00. Many in our group had the sushi appetizers. All really enjoyed them. I guess the Wasabi was wonderfully hot and spicy! I had the Asparagus, it was excellent. DSis and DH had the flatbread. It's huge...enough for a whole meal not just appetizer!
Entree, I ordered the scallops. They were marvelous. Very sweet and mild!
I honestly don't remember what everyone else ordered, except my DD who got the chicken (again). I finished with the rhubarb dessert (it was ok, not spectacular). DH had the Banana Carmel dessert....this is what I should have gotten. It was wonderful and the presentation was really fancy! DSis had the Honey cake with Huckleberry sorbet, which she said was excellent and light! We watched Wishes from the roof top, which was really really special!
Another observation that because of the open kitchen, this is also a pretty loud restaurant.

Saturday at Teppanyaki
Also have eaten here before, enjoy the show the chef's put on..twirling knives, salt/pepper shakers, etc. For anyone who hasn't been, it's pretty much stir fry with what ever kind of meat you want. I enjoyed the soybean pods for an appetizer, although they had to teach my how to eat them (you squeeze the beans out of the pods into your mouth). Also enjoyed the seaweed salad! Had the Ginger Ice Cream for dessert...it's a nice finish to your meal.

We had one teen in our party who just didn't eat lunches :confused3 , also my DH got sick on Tuesday night (don't order the "Wet Burrito" :sad2: at the Mexican Counter service place, we're pretty sure he had some kind of Food Poisoning from it!), so he didn't eat for a day or two.

Also it was SO hot, that we weren't always hungry for lunch. I think we ended up with like 8 CS left (we had 63 to start with!).
