Questions on process of buying/selling existing contract with a private party/family friend?

Earlier this year ROFR took a $71 OKW non extended too - but passed others in that range. You just never know w/ ROFR .

I would think they'd want to take non-extended only, no?

I believe so yes. Disney has right of first refusal on any sale of a contract. I think the only way to get around that is for them to gift it to you.

Does Disney have rules on who people can gift a contract to? Such as just to immediate family or whatever? Otherwise, a person could do a "gift" but actually money changes hand without Disney knowledge, similar to points transfers.

When you do a gratuitous transfer there is paperwork that it is such and owners need to verify it was truly gratuitous as this is a real estate transaction.

Documents to the such are signed attesting to it.

Point transfers isn’t really the same thing because you are not transferring your contract ownership.
