This is now one of our favorite memories of WDW.
We took our DD and our DGD to WDW with us. DGD is 11 months old and had not really started walking yet. She would walk around while holding someone's finger but hadn't gotten the nerve to let go yet. We were waiting in the Throne room at Cinderella's Castle for Dinner our first night there, and my DD was holding my DGD hand...Cinderella walked in and sat on her "Throne" my DGD took one look at her and let go of mom's hand and walked 15-20' across the room with her arms outstretched to Cinderella. My DD yelled at us across the room, "She's Walking, She's Walking". Everyone in the room was cheering her on as she toddled towards Cinderella. Cinderella kneeled down on the floor and held out her arms, and caught her in a great big hug.....needless to say...Grandma couldn't stop the tears... DD was crying and laughing everyone was clapping. It was a moment I will never forget. Not many people can say they started to walk in Cinderella's Castle. It is story I'm sure my DGD will hear forever. With pictures and video to prove it!
