FYI - Men's shoes review... sorry ladies

Just got back three days ago and I gotta say the shoes that I brought were great. We were there at rope drop every morning and typically stayed until park closing. At the end of the night, my feet felt perfect... not like I spent all day walking at all... and I don't normally walk/excercise.

Everyday I switched between my Teva Sampango sandals without socks and my New Balance 758's with double layer Wrightsocks. Both have wonderfully cushioning soles and I never even thought about my feet hurting the entire time

One night I work dress shoes to go to Party of the Senses and in just the 3-4 hours that I wore those my feet were killing me.

These worked for me. Just thought I would share in case it helps any of the guys out.

Oh, on a side note... I didn't see that many Croc's in the park surprisingly.

Thanks for this report!! Hopefully this will help our DIS men find the perfect shoes. :)

Mine did, too! We were in Disneyland last week, and I had brought 4 pair of shoes: A pair of Ryka athletic shoes (very broken in, almost falling apart, if truth be told); Crocs; a pair of cushy, loose-fitting flip-flops I got in Maui, and athletic-type sandals.

The Crocs and sandals are relatively new, so I was a bit worried about wearing them too long. Plus the sandals rub along the back of the ankle, so they were really my last choice of shoe.

I decided to start out each day wearing the tennies with socks, then switched to either the flip-flops or Crocs during DS2's nap. That worked well until the day we didn't return to our hotel mid-day and I wore the tennies all day and all evening. No blisters, but my feet hurt, so I wore the flip-flops the next morning, and my feet felt great!

I kept changing the shoes (either mid-day or at least the next day), and I did not get any blisters, I was pretty amazed!

The only day I wore the sandals was for a few hours at the hotel while I was doing laundry, so I could have done without them.

Did the Keens in June and will be taking them along with some socks for our Oct & DEC trips.

I also take a pair of NothFace and Ecco watershoes as well.
