Thank you for the great report. I'm glad to see positive review on Garden Grill. I just made ADR but wasn't sure if I had made the right choice.

Quick question on the water. When you requested water, did you give them youre water bottle or do they give water/ice in cup and then you refilled your water bottle?

Yes, we really liked it! Felt like a Thanksgiving feast.

They'll give the water in a large paper cup, and then we poured it into the water bottles to keep it cold longer.

This is the second thread now where someone posted that they loved EMM at DHS. I'm thinking we will need to check it out next trip!

I cannot tell you how many times I looked down at my magicband to check the time!! I also use my phone to check the time and agree with you! I will be adding wristwatch to my packing list. Thanks for reminding me!!

Yes, they are, which is nice. Note that Garden Grill is family style and they bring platters of food, vs. an actual buffet. And they'll bring more of anything you want.

Yes, they were in the outside building off to the side of the main indoor building that seems to be the more permanent setup. I didn't even see a sign, so had to ask since they were on break when we walked up. I think the MDE app did show them there though. And I think it might be fairly recent, as I'd read at some point they were moving.

Yes, if those rides/characters appeal to you, it's definitely worth it!

They do sell accessories for Magic Bands and I believe one of them is a watch. I am also a watch wearer. This past May I used my Magic Band and my stepson got me a Fitbit - way to many things on my wrist.

Yeah, I agree, Ipizzuro123 -- last trip I had a Magic Band and a FitBit on one arm and a Swatch on the other. It was not ideal!

Sure! Our BOG ADR was for 8:25 on a 9:00 opening day with EMM. My plan was to be there at 7:30 to get in at 7:45, but by the time we got there and entered it was about 8:10. We stopped at 3 different photographers for pictures along Main Street from 8:14-8:19 according to the times on the photos. Even though it feels repetitive, I recommend stopping for all, as you'll get different castle views from each. They each have their own touch too. We rushed through the coffee and snacks and were out by about 8:45 to get in the 7DMT line for BOG people, which started moving just after that. We walked through the whole standby queue - I assume EMM people were using FP? Not sure how it works otherwise. We heard the opening announcements while walking through the queue. Our ride photos are stamped 8:54, and then standby was up to 30 minutes by the time we were out.

Yeah, there are some people in our pics, but not nearly as many as the ones from later in the day. It also just felt nice having so few people around. Of course, we might have missed the main rush right as they let people in. Our total came to about $20 - not bad!
