Just back last night from 5 days in disney. My parents and I used the DDP and we saved so much money!! Dinners each night were about 100-110 so right there we spent the money it cost us for the DDP.

I loved the flexibity of different choices for restaurants, snacks, and CS.

We're all sold on using it next time.

For the :thumbsup2 on dinng plan,I think we will use it in Dec. Have seen many good reports on it. :wave2:

Where did you eat? Give us the dish! ;)

Monday night - GF cafe (we needed something close to MK for wishes). The service was outstanding and the food was great.

tuesday night - Alfredo's in Italy; the service was pretty poor. When they heard we were on the DDP, they were quite pretentious and added a card with our bill saying "tip is not included in this bill" even though it is with the dining plan. the food was good though. i had pasta with bolognese sauce and the salad was very tasty. I had ice cream for dessert and they put m and m's on it. my mom didn't like her fettucine alfredo..she only had a few bites. my dad loved his meal (don't remember what he got).

wednesday night - couldn't get a ressie at Le Cellier so we went with concourse steakhouse. the service was the best of the week. I forget her name but she was from orlando if that helps!! :confused3 I had the new york strip and it was great. the mashed potatoes were yummy and the ceasar salad was the best of the week. I had the butterfinger cheesecake for dessert and it was a little rich but very yummy.

thursday night - YUCK. sci fi for dinner and it was so bad. I do not recommend that place (see the thread I started). the atmosphere was really cool but the food was lacking and the service was just okay.

friday - we used our remaining snacks and loaded up on ice cream until we ate in the airport.

the CS all ran us about 12-15 per person, and the snacks were about 4 for each person. the meals at night were around 110 so we definitely saved money and it was great not having to worry about how much each thing cost.

I definitely recommend the dining plan. danny1649 good choice!!

Did you just ignore the card? We have Alfredo's booked for August and I don't want to feel as though we need to tip them twice. ;)

Yep, we just ignored it. At all the other restaurants, after they swiped our card, we noticed they added 18% gratuity but Alfredo's they didn't. We ignored it none the less. The maitre'd told us the waitress will get tipped with the DDP and not to worry.

Enjoy!!
