OUTSTANDING service. I cannot say enough about it. We went to the BCV's from Jan. 9th-18th. We had Larrry as a driver, he was a true and kind gentleman. We stopped at Cash and Carry, wow, super prices. When he picked us up at the airport he patiently stood there and waited for our luggage (took a while) and pulled some of it for us to the van. He pulled a step stool out for us to climb into (never had that before) and the van was extremely clean and clean smelling, very nice.
On the return, I almost changed our ride to the airport because we heard that it was going to be snowing in Boston in the afternoon and almost changed our flights. Long story short, he went along with two changes with no problem (we stayed with original flight time) and was promptly there yesterday. He was so nice and I strongly recommend requesting him. I will surely use their service on our next trip!!

Glad to hear this, I am planning on using Tiffany for our trip in June and we will be using a van. I had used them in the past but went with Cartier my last trip, but Tiffany seems to have the best prices right now.

We returned on Saturday, we also had Larry, He is a true gentleman, he even gave us a lottery ticket, we promised him we would share if we won (half of 28 mill, would not be bad). We are going to use there service again next year. They were promt. and gave us plenty of time for our grocery stop. We used the coupon in the passporter and saved $8.00 we added that to our tip, we were so pleased.

Glad to hear that! We'll be using them in December - I plan on surprising DH with a towncar for "just the two of us"!

That's good to know about Cash N' Carry. Our Tiffany driver wanted to take us there in August but I preferred the 'known' (Publix) to the unknown. Do you feel the store had a good selection? I am glad to hear that Tiffany is maintaining the high standard my family has been used to.

They had a great selection. The thing that surprised me the most were the prices, some of them lower than at home. I guess I thought they would be much higher because its a tourist town, you know? But they were very typical "at home" prices, very nice.

Let me see if I get this...the transportation you get from the airport will stop at a grocery store for you? I really need some more information on this! It sounds like this "Tiffany" is a good one to get...tell me more about it, PLEASE! And what are you buying at the store? Is this when you fill up the collapsible coolers that I have been reading about? I LOVE these boards! I am learning SO much!! This is great!
Thanks!

Yes, if you request with your reservation that you would like a stop, they will stop for approximately 30 minutes. That was more than enough for us. Now we did not need this when we were staying at Port Orleans Riverside, as the fridge in their rooms only held a small amount of drinks. Now that we are DVC members, and have a big fridge, we can buy things like gallons of milk, oj, soda etc. for the whole week. Some people use this service and buy a styrofoam cooler at the store and fill that with what they buy...that seems like alot of work, but to each his own. It really depends on what you need. But it is free! If you decide to go with Tiffany, just go to their website, Tiffanytowncar.com, fill out the info. and click submit, thats all there is to it. Then they will meet you at the luggage area with your name on a card and you're off to your resort. Its awesome. Any more questions, just ask! Oh, and do request Larry as a driver. He was just so nice.
:D

We bring some food with us, even when we are flying, We stop at a grocery store in Orlando to buy fruit, cheese, bread, muffins, milk, etc. That way we can have a quick breakfast in the room and have some sandwich fixings so thet we can make a quick dinner in the room when we are too tired to go out. We also bring some snacks into the park to hold us over for lunch. This saves us a lot of money and also time since we can eat breakfast in shifts in the mornings while some are getting ready. We have 4 kids so anything that saves money really adds up. We do plan for a breakfast out on occasion.

Re Kash and Karry...

We stopped at one in October, and were not impressed. The store was dirty, some of the bread was moldy, and I've seen fresher produce in a bachelor's crisper! I didn't notice the prices, but did notice that the cashier took her time - but that was ok because bag guy was about 90 years old couldn't keep up with her (a problem when you are up against a 30 minute grocery stop). The most any bag had in it was two items.....making for quite the towncar tip....

Someone posted that Kash and Karry was pulling out of Orlando, so you may be stuck with Publix or Albertsons anyway.

(We bought far to much at the store - also DVC members and its easy to say "we have a kitchen - lets get lots of stuff!". But breakfast and snacks are usually good to bring - and we always get bread/jam and peanut butter for those strange days where we need something lunch like. I like to pick up some sort of fruit as well - apples or grapes, so when we are "unhealthfooded-out" we can eat something that feels slightly nutritious - and we like to get bottled water. If you are a big pop drinker its far cheaper to buy it at a grocery store)

wow, that was not our experience at Cash and Carry at all. Everything was fresh and service was quick. I was very pleased and will probably like to go there next time. We ended up leaving behind one soda and a thing of butter, but that was about it. Thats too bad you had a bad experience there.

Hi, We booked Tiffany Towncar yesterday for our June trip. Requested larry per your recommendation and a grocery stop as we are renting points at BCV. Got a confirmation back, but the way it reads concerns me. States the driver will meet us,assist us and take us directly to our destination. No acknowledgement of grocery stop or Larry (if available) request. Also no price quote ($80?) but what if their rates were to go up before June. Also do they not use a confirmation # as we did not get one.

The best thing I would do at this point is call them. I don't have their number on hand, but someone else may have it shortly (or it may be on their website). I wasn't given that info. either on my online reservation, in fact, you had to type in on the "comments" part of the form that you wanted a grocery stop. I would not worry at all. A quick call to them will reassure you. Then I would also call the day before you fly, just to confirm.
