DBF and I just returned from a fabulous week at WDW and what with uni starting back and work I wont have time to do a trip report so here are my highs and lows :wizard:

Highs:goodvibes

  • Pop - we loved it there. We normally stay at moderates but really enjoyed Pop just as much especially for how long we were there. They had pool parties, a fab shop and foodcourt and our room was lovely and clean and for 2 people the space wasnt an issue.

September - we just love september! Hardly any waits, only waited 10 mins at the most and the weather was fab, we only had one storm for half hour one evening.

QSDP - we normally have the DDP but for a short trip we found loads of lovely options, nice sandwiches, chinese, mexican, lasagne, morrocan etc, we only had 1 burger.

Meeting lots of characters - hardly any waits and some really fun interactions especially since we are just 2 adults.

Slowing down and enjoying the magic - we spent some time wandering the resorts and taking pictures of different things in the parks.

Enjoying more down time at the pool

Just being excited that we were there at all as this trip was never meant to be!

    Lows

    • Plane journey - We flew with Monarch which was ok in the end despite preffering seat back entertainment etc but just generally dont enjoy flying, no-ones fault just my little phobia.

Heat Rash - I got really bad heat rash and still cant get it to go away, again no-ones fault but my own.

    Coming home!

welcome back!!!
glad to hear you had a wonderful time!!

we also enjoyed the pop in August!! i honestly don't see any reason to pay anything more for the mods or deluxes...

we had the DDP, but i told DS that if he goes again by himself, i think quick service would be a good choice.....lots of good selections - especially in the pop food court :thumbsup2

i agree with you regarding getting to and from america - i wish we could just beam over in the blink of an eye!!

september is also my favourite time of year. unfortunately (although its not that bad) due to school and college commitments we are waiting an extra few weeks and going over tatey picking week (as us northerners would say)
