We shared alot of our meals and found most meals very satisfying. Kids never finish their food so we picked on their plates. I just don't like to leave untouched food.

Very good.. We asked our server (Kirby) if we could split the

Chip or something really messy. But great for small kids.

Ohana-Poly (Our farewell party)
This is a must!!!! I requested a window table and it's breathtaking. Fireworks were not scheduled but loved to see the GF at nite. We loved it from start to finish. I loved the salad. Turkey was my favorite dipped in the Thai (peanut) sauce.
Pineapple in warm caramel sauce (To die for) No additional dessert needed. We were stuffed!!!

Sorry so long.... I am back in the real world but I want to go back tomorrow!! DH says start looking for those codes. We stayed within our budget (even had $ to bring home). So thanks to all of the wonderful people on these boards. You helped us have a "Magical Vacation"!!! :smooth:

You're making me hungry!:) It all sounds so good, thanks for posting. I can't wait to try some for myself.

I was wondering what vouchers you used at Columbia HOuse in MK. Was it worth the price of the voucher? Were they adult or kids vouchers? Trying to figure out where the vouchers in the park are worth it.

Thanks for the reviews! You seem to have budgeted really well, especially to come out ahead! ;)

Thanks for sharing.

Can you give more info on your experience with the vouchers? Did you have any problems using them? Did you have to pay cash for the water, or were you able to use the vouchers? I read a thread where someone had problems getting bottled water with the voucher.

Thanks for the review, and I really appreciate the info about splitting an all-you-care-to-eat pre-plated meal. That's a perfect solution for my in-laws when we have a character lunch at Tony's, if they'll let them do that.

Thanks for the great restaurant reviews!

Ethelina,

Everything sounds so yummy! Thanks for the reviews, we made ressies at Ohana, and now we really can't wait to eat there!

How was the WL? We'll be there in Decbmer and it'll be our first time at WL...can you tell us a little about it? Sorry, hope we're not intruding! :( We're just really excited! :p

Great info -- am I to understand they have the Strawberry Soup at BREAKFAST at the GF 1900 Park Faire???

Do tell. That could affect our plans. We love that stuff! :D

PF does put the strawberry soup out at both meals - dinner and breakfast.

I think they even put the bread pudding out at both (that some people like so much).

Jcanary- We used the ($11.00) Adult vouchers at Columbia House it was Monday Columbus Day and MKwas pretty crowded. We were the only customers in there at 10:50am and 20 mins later you couldn't find a seat!! We had plently of fish and fries, DH had Tuna and it was nice portion sandwich. We probably broke even using the vouchers at this meal.

disneyjunkie- I had heard of some servers being a little snobby with vouchers but all of our experiences the servers were very helpful!! Dasani bottle of water (24oz?) not a problem as the drink w/voucher.

I would go the voucher route again. We had no problems using them. I like the idea of pre-paying food for vacation!!

QJ411- I would talk about our vacation to anyone who will listen! So, you are not intruding! These boards are great for people doing their "homework". Ohana- great choice! Atmosphere cozy but very entertaining when the coconut races start! Kids have a great time. Try to pick a nite that the fireworks are scheduled & request a table by window. I don't think you would be sorry. We didn't get the fireworks but the view was awesome! Walk down around pool/beach area at Poly after dinner. We sat in a swing they had on the beach. I could have slept in that swing!!!

WL- One Word "Incredible" You've made another great choice!!We had connecting rooms 4006-4008 wood's view overlooking pond. We used the elevator near Roaring Forks and was short walk to our rooms. If we used the stairs, we came out near bridge leading to boat dock. IMO good location. Mom wished they had a "people mover" when we walked thru lobby but overall lodge is more compact than some other resorts I read about.

Congrats on your upcoming wedding and enjoy your honeymoon!!!

Yes, Strawberry soup and bread pudding were on our breakfast buffet!! I would love to have some now!!!
