I'm just going to review the sit down restaurants and I'll list the counter and if you have any questions about them just ask!


Chef Mickeys- we walked up and lucked out and got in right away for breakfast! Very good food and it was a really fun atmosphere.

Mamma Melroses in MGM- First time here, we got PS earlier that day. It was pretty good, our server was very nice but really slow. Flatbeards were very good.

Plaza restaurant in MK. We walked up at 11am and got a table right away! I've read so many great reviews about this place and it didn't disappoint. The burgers were VERY good and the milkshakes were probably the best I've ever had, service was great.

Ohana- walked up at 9:45 after a rough first day, travelled all night, resort problems. We were all very tired and stressed out. they sat us right away and our server was wonderful! We walked in right as they were starting the hula hooping, DD(7) loved that. Then the fireworks started- surpise! It was really wonderful and made us forget all about our rough first day.

Cape May Cafe- It was good but nothing really special. Service was slow and the characters were very rushed. Good food but we'll probably skip this one next trip.

Alfredos- Great service, our server was a trip and great with the kids. Food was great, we always enjoy this place.

Prime Time Cafe- One of my new favorites!! This was our first trip here and we loved it, The food was very good and the service excellent.

Le Cellier- We had a blast here! Our server was awesome, he even brought DD a special 2 day early B-day cake, with her name and Happy Birthday written in chocolate. We didn't ask him to do this he just did after she told him(and everyone else it was going to be her B-day soon). My mom and DD thought our server was cute(and he was!)and he even posed for a pic with them. Great meal, awesome food and great time!!

Princess Storybook breakfast- This was for DD birthday. She had a blast and that's all that matters but we won't be returning again. They had a kitchen problem earlier and the only hot food we received was eggs and potatos. The princesses came around in one giant clump and the first didn't arrive till we had been done eating for around 10 minutes, then they came one after another really fast. Our server brought DD a B-day certificate which was a nice tough and a decorate yourself cookie though. One thing I found very odd thouh was that Mulan wasn't Asian, I found that very strange, maybe the regular Mulan was sick or something?

Garden Grill- This isn't my favorite place food wise but DD LOVES it and it was for her birthday dinner. We had a blast!! The character interaction was excellent, as always and Pluto had us rolling we were laughing so hard! They sung this crazy B-day song to her and all the characters came over, it was a so much fun!

Beaches and Cream- Good burgers and the sundaes were huge and delicious.

ESPN at the Boardwalk- this place was a hoot with all the TVs everywhere you turned. We all had appetizers for lunch, they were all very good.

You picked some great places and some of my favorites. Was Jasmine at the Princess Storybook Breakfast? My spoiled rotttened 5yo niece really want's to see Jasmine and if we go to one of the princess breakfast and don't see Jasmine it won't be a pretty meal.

Also you left out the details on your meal at McDonald's at Ak. I here their very very good and somthing different. LOL It's funny how many choices there are for food in WDW and my family ends up at McDOnalds also. Thanks

Jasmine, Belle, Snow White, Mulan and Sleepy Beauty were all there. Jasmine was actually the best of the bunch, she really played the part well.

The McDonalds was pretty good it was located in the Restaurantasaures(sp?) in Dinoland, they had a great toppings bar. Our fries were cold but we returned them for hot ones with no problem.

How many milkshakes did you have there, anyway?!

LOL. I had a cookies and cream one and I sampled my DD and DH's, just a few sips of each.

Our server "uncle" David didn't yell at us for anything but he was very nice and provided great service. The table next to us had another server and one women didn't finish her meal so he tried to feed her a bite airplane style. She refused so then he had our section of the restuarnt yell shame, shame, shame at her.

Overall it was one of my favorite meals and we'll definitely be returning!

The first time we ate there we made the mistake of going at around 12:30- yikes! It was so crowded and we sat elbow to elbow with people but the burgers were still good. The second time we ate there we went at a more off hour, I think it was around 7:30 and there was tons of room and we had our pick of many tables. Hope you have a great trip!

We are currently scheduled for the character breakfast at Cape May, but have considered dropping it since we have several others scheduled. What was it about it that made you say that you weren't impressed? Thanks for the info, and maybe you'll help us save a little money.

Hmmmmm it's hard to pin point. The food was good and all but I guess it was lack of energy maybe because it was definitely more laid back then others we've gone to. The characters seemed very rushed, it took them awhile to get to the table and then they came and left very quickly. They also didn't show as much "personality" as at other breakfasts. It wasn't a bad time, just not as good as other characters meals we've been to in the past, that's all. I hope that made sense-lol.

I wouldn't rule it out based on our experience because I think they were just having a really bad day. They said that there was some kind of major kitchen problem that morning and they were cooking everything in the bakery, that's why we didn't have any hot things besides the potatos and eggs. I have no idea if this is why the princesses took so long to get around though.

But since I've read some many good reviews about it, I think our experience isn't very common. And like I said in my OP my DD had a blast and that's really all that mattered in the end.
