We had two incidents last time we went to Disney World, and that was back in 2005. My daughter was 6 at the time and she is a very helpful, considerate child. We were in one of the shops at MGM and a little girl in a stroller dropped her toy right in front of my daughter. MY daughter bends down to pick up the toy and had it back to the child and this child's mother rips the toy out of my daughters had. I think that my daughter was trying to take the toy, when she realized her mistake she never even apologized or thanked my daughter for helping. Then, also at MGM at the Beauty and the beast show, we were sitting in our seats when an older couple pushed past us to sit in the same row. The lady just about sat on my daughters lap and she wasn't the last one of our group before the empty seats. I said to the lady "uh, you are trying to sit on my daughter" she just walked past without even saying sorry.
I try to teach my daughter to be a good, polite, helpful person, but sometimes it is hard when others show her just the opposite.
