We just got back a few hours ago. We were there for a week. I thought the crowds were average for July, but manageable if you got there early and used fastpass. Monday we went to MK and were at rope drop. We started in Fantasyland and walked on to Dumbo, Peter Pan, Snow White, Pooh, and the Tea Cups. Walked over to Tomorrowland and got FP for SM, walked on to BUzz twice in a row, waited 5 min. for Astro Obitor, rode TTA and used SM fastpass. Headed toward Fontierland and stopped for HM, walked into the first room, got FP for SplM and rode BTMRR with a 20 min wait. We had lunch used our FP then rode Pirates 10 min wait and walked into the Tiki Room. We got a dole whip (YUUMMMM) and headed out of the park. Now we are a bit commando and I was with 2 17 Year olds so it makes a difference. But overall we did not wait very long for anything our entire trip. Longest wait was for TOT my daughter loves that ride and wanted to do it a 2nd time so it was 25 min from the time she got back through the queue and on the ride. We stayed at Sog, loved our stay as usual. Had some great meals and one I was dissappointed in ( Sci Fi). I'd love to answer questions.

Sounds like you had a great time. Thanks for the mini-review! Sounds like you were able to accomplish a lot. We love July, so jealous as we didn't get to go this summer because DH had to go to Afghanistan instead.

Welcome Back~ Can I ask for a full review of the Sci-Fi? I ate at The Primetime in November and we did not like it..this "surprise" trip I made reservations for lunch @ The Sci-fi..I know it has mixed review but I would love a review from someone who just returned...;) and any other restaurants you ate at...:)

We eat at the Sci Fi every trip and have always had decent food. But this time it was not the case. We ate lunch there as we always do. I had the Italian Chicken Sandwich and it was dry and tasteless. My Daughter had the smoked turkey and didn't like it either. We are not picky eaters. My daughters BF had a burger and liked it. I usually get the Rueben when I go but it was not on the menu. Looks like they tried to replace it with a pastami sandwich that didn't have the extras like saurkraut and thousand island dressing. I guess this is Disneys attempt to give us healthier choices. But, darnit, I liked the unhealthy stuff. Thank goodness they still have the Dole Whips. We had some great meals. Ohana and Teppan Edo were delicious! The Whispering Canyon Cafe and Prime Time were good and alot of fun. We were lucky and had fun servers. We always go to the Biergarten, and it was tastey as usual. So I will probably skip Sci-Fi next time and try something new.

The tour groups were STILL there in full force! We didn't have any encounters with them. We always seemed to be getting off an attraction they were just getting on so it worked out well. But I would say we saw at least 4 or 5 groups in everyday. Someone asked about the characters. We say lots of characters. Now since I was traveling with 2 17 yr olds we didn't track down characters like we use to but they Did have their pics taken with quite a few. Alice, Mad Hatter, Chip and Dale, Goofy, Pluto, Mickey, Minnie, Genie, Donald, Belle, Aurora,Jasmine, Pooh, Eeyore, Mary Poppins, Terk, and that is all I can remember. There may have been more. Most of the characters we had pics with were in Epcot. The lines were not long at all for these characters. The lines were much longer for characters at DHS. Oh and Toy Story Mania was a blast. But the lines were unbelievable. On Friday night at 8:15 right after it stop raining the line was still 120 minutes long. We came back to use the dream fast passes we had gotten earlier in the day. People were running to ride on Tuesday morning. I sent the kids to ride RNR and TOT while I got the FP for Toy Story Mania, (I don't ride TOT or RNR). I didn't run, still got there ahead of much of the crowd and the fastpasses were for 10:05. By the time we rode and got off the fast passes were for 6:45.
