Just back!!Great Trip November 7-15

Hello All!!!!!
Just back froma great trip November 7-15. Stayed at my home resort, OKW, in a dedicated 2BR, #5631, in the SouthPoint area. A great room!!!!!!! Close to the bus stop and the quiet pool. I found it in good repair and very clean, except for a running toilet which was fixed quickly and efficiently. The person I spoke with in Maintenance was quite pleasant too!!!!!

Did the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot...my liver may never be the same!!!LOL!!!!! Had great weather...one day of rain on and off, but we were in and out of the wine and beer tastings at Epcot, so we hardly noticed!!!!

Really lived it up this trip at the Adventurers Club on PI. Those guys are great!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Went about 4 times, and laughed harder & harder each time we went. Their talent amazes me!!!!

Hopefully, we'll be going back again in May 2004...can't wait!!!!!!!

Glad you had a wonderful time. I have a question...The Food & Wine Festival...Do you pay for it? How does it work?

The Food and Wine Festival is great!!!! You don't pay an extra admission price for it. What they do is they have little kiosks all around the WS with samples of foods and wines/beers from different countries. The little samples cost anywhere from $1-$4 pretty much. They also have cooking demonstartions, wine and beer tastings etc. We went to a wine tasting of Australian cabernets...got 3 sample size glasses of Austrailian wine, plus a little blurb about each, where they came from in Austrailia etc. We spent the day just "grazing" our way around Epcot, sampling all the different things. They have stuff from many more countries than the ones that are normally at Epcot. We had stuff from Poland, Lebanon,Irlenad,Spain. Austrailia had the biggest area as far as their kiosk and wine tasting thing went, which leads me to wonder if they might be the next country to get a pavillion there????

If you can ever be there for the F&W Fest, I highly recommend it. It usually runs from mid-October to mid-November. Try to stay at the YC,BC,BCV,BW, BWV,Swan,or Dolphin so you have easy walking/boating access to Epcot.

Disney Doll - So that was YOU we saw stumbling past the Australia booth when we were buying our BBQ tenderloin!

Glad you had a great trip. I have to agree with you about how great F&W is...I'd like to go back for it next year again!

I'll tell you what...between that Austrailia booth and the Mexican margaritas, I am not surprised if you saw me stumbling along!!!LOL!!!!
