Just Back from WDW

Hi everyone. I just got back from a really nice time at WDW. Stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter. The weather was nice. It rained a couple of times every day, but never for more than 5 minutes at a time or so. Crowds were lower than I expected in the Summer and ended up being pretty managable. Visited MK (including EMH), EPCOT, AK, Downtown Disney Marketplace, ate at Boatwrights, Cape May Cafe, Earl of Sandwhich, did the carriage ride at Port Orleans... probably more but I can't remember right now lol. Anyway, it anyone has any questions I'll try my best to answer them.

Glad you had a good time!!! We were just there 2 weeks ago and experienced the same thing with the crowds. Can't wait to hear details in your trip report!!!! Time to start planning the next one!!!

I am glad to hear that the crowds are not too bad. We leave the 9th of August. This will be our 5th AUgust going and we know to expect rain and heat, but the crowds have always been hard to predict.

Tell me!!!! What characters did you see?????? Anyone unusual or you would consider rare? Did you see the new Jo Jo circus characters? See any princes out, or Jane, Tarzan or Brer Fox? Or Mulan male characters, or Rabbit from the 100 Acres Woods? Hopefully some good characters were out somewhere!!

We also just came back (just got home tonight) and we had a great time... I felt like the crowds were too much during the afternoons, but it could just be that I'm too spoiled.
My little sister and I took pictures with a lot of characters this year and were thrilled to see Lilo and Stitch and the Finding Nemo characters. We didn't see the Mulan characters but I think I saw that they have a permanent spot inside the China pavillion of the world showcase at Epcot. We did see the Jo Jo circus characters, they have their own spot across from who wants to be a millionaire. There were no Jane or Tarzan characters but kermit the frog and Miss Piggy were standing together just outside of their show at MGM.
All of the princess were out at some point... we even got our pic taken with Mary Poppins at the Norway pavillion in the World showcase at Epcot.

Not too many really rare characters out that I saw. It seemed like the usual. Baloo was in a lot of places, as was the Brother Bear characters. I did see a few characters for the first time though- Nemo at Living Seas and Connie-Saurus at DinoRama. Other than that it was pretty much the same old same old.

Stitch was still under construction unfortunatly. From the TTA you could see down into what use to be the queue to Alien Encounter and it's all torn up. Not even sure if there was even any cement there right now, so it would be pretty hard to get in it.
