Just got back from our trip to WDW - after checking in at CR we headed over to MK (Sat around 11 am) - it was PACKED - and continued to be very crowded the rest of our stay.
We hightailed it out of there & headed to Epcot where the crowds were almost non-existent. Did Mission Space first where there was a 5 minute wait - I was leary of this ride but had convinced myself that I was making a bigger deal out of it than was warranted. That being said - I'll probably never ride it again unless they adjust it a bit. Once the ride started while I couldn't FEEL the rotation, my eyes were doing the side to side catch up movement (sorry can't think of how else to describe it!!) so my body must have KNOWN we were spinning - the take off was INTENSE
and for a few moments I really thought I might lose it!!! The rest of the ride was tolerable. The rest of my clan (DH 38, DS 14 & DS 9) was fine & thought I was being a sissy!
On day 2 we went to MGM but only got through 1/2 day when DS9 got sick (had to go to the ER Clinc on day 3 for a case of broncitis!!)
The remainder of the time on days 4-6 (after DS was feeling better) we mixed the parks for a few hours here & there (along with SW, Universal & IOA) & on Day 7 went all out & hit AK, Disney Quest, DTD & MGM for Fantasmic.
Because of the MK crowds & a loss of 1 1/2 days for DS9 I didn't get to see most of my favorites at MK including seeing Philharmagic
We only got to go on TT once, RNR once - you get the point! Also I've NEVER seen Fantasmic SO CROWDED!! The crowds were definately up over our Nov 2001 & Oct 2002 trips!
LMK If you have any questions that I might be able to answer for you!
