Just Back From Vistana Resort..Info. and ???'s

Hi, just returned from a week visit at Vistana Resort. We were there from 2/2 to 2/9. We stayed in the Cascades. Went to the Cascades pool and the Super Pool. We ate at the rest. at the Cascades and at Zimmies. both were fine. The service was good. The room was clean. A little worn in a couple of places, but nothing that bothered us. We had very adequate supplies. the maid service was good about bringing a change a towells. We checked in using the Diamond Lane and it worked very well, almost too well. I had requested a ground floor as my father had an accident right before leaving, and really messed up his knee. We didn't want him to have to drag his stuff up and down stairs (in case we recieved an older unit without an elevator). So, they took care of us and gave us a ground floor handicapped unit.

The resort wasn't at capacity, but was very busy. Yet we didn't have a hard time finding space at the pool or restuarants.

I would recommend this resort, highly. If you have any questions, please let me know, I'll be happy to *try* to answer them. by the way, you can't beat the location to Disney. You can almost throw a rock and hit it.

Good to hear another recommendation as we are heading off there in 10 days. Just one question - how would you compare the VR with the Grande Vista?? It would be useful to know the pro's and con's of each so that we can take full advantage while we are there.
