Just back from the OKW/DIS/DVC Meet!

Whew! I just returned from the DIS/DVC mini-meet here at OKW. We lost track of time- 3 hours really flew by!

I didn't realize how late it was until the band was packing up and the open bar and buffet line were closing.

For those who are coming next week, the budget may have been blown on today's meet- so don't expect the open bar, band or buffet......but I'll still be there!

Actually, the meet consisted of JayPD and myself and we really did talk for 3 hours. We have now figured out how to solve all of DVC's, WDW's and DIS's problems. We'll begin implementation immediately!

While we were talking Sonja (GM here at OKW) walked by, but being as shy as we are, we balked at introducing ourselves and thus lost another opportunity.

JayPD is a very energetic Disney fan and I was delighted to finally get to meet him. His enthusiasm for Disney and DVC is obvious and we found we have much in common- especially regarding DVC, Disney and DIS.

I'm looking forward to next week's meet on Wed, May 16 at 3PM by the OKW marina flagpole. See you then!

LOL! Fortunately, there was plenty of ice from the ice sculpture centerpiece- so I didn't have too much swelling! I was glad the buffet was still open when that happened!

Wish I could have been there! Thanks to your family who let you take time out of vacation to help your fellow DIS/DVC'ers. Too bad we can't all be full-time neighbors at OKW!

I must agree 3 hours did go by way to quick. Doc and I had a great chat that it seemed liked we knew each other forever. Well Doc glad we got to meet.

We were hoping to go to the mini-meet next wednesday, but now not sure we will be able to

We have a meeting with our guide Wednesday at 1pm to sign some more papers and get a tour (does anyone hear add-on before the price goes up?).

Anyway, if we don't make it to the meet, we will definitely be at the member meeting on tuesday morning. Hope to see some of you there.
