For anyone wondering whether to stay here or not....DO IT!!
We had a lovely time. Traveling with 2 babies we wanted someplace quiet...atleast quite for Disney standards! The room was very peaceful (I am a light sleeper) the bed was soft and the pillows felt like down. I was pleased with the resort. We were in Boca Chica. I am so sad to be home :( I can't wait to go again!!

Thank you all for the help and information :)

Glad you had a "grand" time! We leave in 58 days, and I'm so excited!!!! BTW, how was traveling with infant twins? I've got triplets, but they're 5 now. I wasn't brave enough to try it when they were tiny.

Triplefigs, they are actually a year apart. Our daughter is our "surprise" baby :) I actually thought of you while we were there...I have read many of your posts on these boards. There was a lady at the GF that was saying how she had spent the evening sitting for triplets. I had wondered if it was you. But these trips were toddler age. As for traveling with 2 babies...we just took the good with the bad and kept reminding ourselves they were the ones in charge. Would we do it again? YES! In a heartbeat. I cried while holding my daughter in my arms during the parade. It was such a sweet moment. I love that memory now.

You have no idea how much I needed to see a happy post today!

Thank you very much....my family will be there in a little over 100 days!

I'm so glad the trip was a success. BTW, I love pictures of your kids. They are adorable. I hope I have many sweet moments like that on our trip. That's the real reason we're going!

It was a fun vacation. Mind you it wasn't like the ones we took before kids, but special in so many other ways. And as for the GF, it was so cozy. I can't believe how comfortable I was there. I am one of those who is so picky about noise, pillows and bed comfort! I kept thanking the staff whenever we would pass one. Even if it was just for something small. They work so hard. It broke my heart when I noticed one of the cashiers had a hole in the toe of her shoe. Anyone who was allowed to accept tips got one from us. We even left the Mickey balloons and a couple of toys behind in the room today, with a note attached for the mouse keeper to take them home to her kids/grandkids. Our son has already forgotten about those balloons - but it helped ward off a melt-down Thursday night :)

Welcome back Traci. I'm so glad to hear that you had a good time. Did you end up with a corner room, or did the standard give you plenty of space?

Sweet Tammi! Girl, I was going over my notes from your posts while on the plane :teeth: The hotel was booked! They were so busy from conventions that any upgrades were out of the question (and I don't mean free ones - we wouldn't have minded paying) but nothing was available. It all worked out great though. Again, it felt so cozy. We ended up with a dormer (lagoon view of contempory and poly) with 2 beds. We were hoping for a king since we needed 2 cribs. I was sweating walking to the room thinking how are we all going to fit (knowing the dormers are smaller). But we fit, and had fun and I can't complain :) We weren't disappointed :)

oh and I have to add that the dormer room was so charming! It truly was like an attic playhouse!

This has got to be one of the best descriptions I've seen of the dormer rooms. You are so right, they are exactly like an attic playhouse. I'm glad you were happy with it and I'm glad I could help you with your plans.
