Just got off the Dream yesterday! Although the weather was cooler than I would have preferred, my mom and I had a great time!

We had the 10:30am PAT and we were on the ship by 11:15am (arrived at the parking garage at 9:50am.) We were able to check in, use the restroom, get a pic with Mickey, make some pressed pennies, and take pics outside before we got on the ship.

Cabanas was very crowded but as soon as they opened the 2nd half of the buffet, it was much better!

We had room 9512 (for the second time.) and we just love the location, the room, and the obstructed verandah without the high cost of a full size one. Our room host was great and left shower supplies daily.

Our dining rotation was ERRA which we liked...AP ended up being our favorite meal. We also dined at Palo for brunch which was good and I've done it twice now, not sure I would do it again unless I was on a longer cruise.

We enjoyed the adult pool areas, trivia, and saw Moana. B&B was playing our last night at 10:45pm but we decided not to go and did things around the ship instead.

On our second attempt, we were able to dock at CC. I signed up for the CC 5k. They ended up passing out medals at the meeting place in case we weren't able to dock. I ended up doing my own 5k on the ship (deck 4.)

Overall, we had a great time! We had wished the adult hot tub would be open till 11pm and that those traveling who have different addresses could receive their own Castaway Club bags.

If anyone has any questions, please let me know! We didn't book a placeholder only because we are doing an Alaskan cruise next summer and due to itinerary and cost, we have decided to try another cruise line.

Where did you take pictures at outside before boarding the ship?
We will be on the Dream in May, and I plan on taking tons of pictures!

Did you try the new ice cream shop and how was it? How were the shows?

Going on the Fantasy in June and for the first time we chose 10:30 PAT and that is only
because our flight arrives 7 am. I don't like being on the ship too early because the room is
not ready. Did you eat and just walk around?

Sounds like you had a great time!!! Dream is a favorite of mine ...beautiful ship.

Glad you had a great time in a great room! :thumbsup2 Where are the penny press machines? My girls have them from all over but we didn't realize they have one there! :)

After you check in, if you walk past the yellow ears, past the concierge check-in, you'll see the doors to walk outside to take pics. It was pretty busy when we walked out there so we took a few and went inside.

We walked in, took some pics, and sampled some gelato and ice cream but never had a chance to go back...we were so busy/full from other meals! Plus our room was FWD so it was closer to the free ice cream lol.

We had lunch at Cabanas which took a while because the lines were very long until the 2nd half of the buffet was open. We walked thru the kids clubs, did a spa tour, went to GS to check on our ship board credit and by 1:30pm the room was ready. Our luggage arrived shortly after that so we unpacked and hit the hot tub before the drill at 3:45pm. 2 years ago, we had lunch, walked the ship, and went swimming before our room was ready at 1:30pm. I'd so much rather be on the ship killing time than doing so at a hotel but then again, I don't cruise often so it's exciting!

Great report! Glad you had a good time!

(It was actually the third attempt that got you into CC. :) But you made it!)
