Just started our trip reports today (Brown family...)
Overall,
crowds were much less than I expected. Had a few waits at MK on Wed (didn't arrive until about 10:30), but mostly walk-ons the rest of the weekend.
showed up 45 min early (5:45) for our PS at chef Mickey's on T-day and were seated in five minutes. Never had to wait for a table at counter service (or in a line).
WL- great!!!!!! Pool was not crowded. Hotel was quiet, lobby bustling at times, but not unpleasant at all.
WL boat transportation and bus to AK were wonderful-not even full.
I would not hesitate to go again at this time. I have to admit that since we are usually "weekenders", the five nights was too much.
We have already shortened our May trip from 3 to 2 nights in favor of not going Memorial day weekend and just going another weekend. Dh and I will be back in Jan for two nights. When you are just three hours away, a shorter trip is more relaxing. By the third day, I was wiped out (as you will read).
MVMCP- fun, but probably would not do again. It was more crowded that night than we had seen ALL Thanksgiving weekend . Kind of hard to get to shows on time, since they start late. VERY long lines for photos and cocoa and the maps are not specific enough as to wear to get the goodies. There is just a gingerbread man plastered on the map , but it doesn't say where. We just saw a long line coming out of Columbia Harbor House and figured it was there. VERY LONG LINES in Fantasyland. We were just passing through it. My DH and DS went on TM 3 X in a row though. That's where my mom and I had the BEST view of wishes.
The Christmas Parade was wonderful!
Did lots of new things this trip -saw EWP, surrey bikes to FW, Boardwalk (guess where we want to stay in May?), adn some new restaurants.....
I will try to finish trip reports and post a dining and resort review soon. Right now I am studying for finals and my break is now over!!!! By the way, we paid everything $$$$$ and came home with over $100 (which went right back into our Disney envelope!)
