Thank you for posting your trip report Stacy. I'm sorry for the smoking situation but I appreciate the heads up. I will definitely look for the nonsmoking sign on the door upon my arrival. All in all, it sounds like SSR is lovely and the pool sounds great! I look forward to our first visit home. I'm glad you had a good time.

What are the options for on -site dining? I'd love to at least have a chance to check out this resort!

artist palette is made to order counter service. Its kinda like a deli at an upscale grocery. There were ready made salads and sanwiches, including a little PB&J w/chips and cookie box, and super yummie desserts like snickers cheesecake(!!!!!!). Then there were made to order dishes like flatbread pizza. There is room to sit nearby, but we also took one meal out to the pool.

Stacey, Were you in a studio? If a studio could you describe the H/A bathroom, especially the shower. I need to be able to fit an adult shower chair in the shower for my son. Thanks Susan

I was in a studio. The tub/shower seemed standard sized. The door was in a different location and the towel bars were replaced with hand rails.

The folks at the front desk could see the H/A of each room on the computer. I bet if you called, they could tell you better about the accomodations.
