Just Back from SoG........

I am wondering if any of you know why the Length of Stay Pass does not include the day of check-in and check-out. It looks like an Ultimate Park Hopper ticket gives you the ability to use it on the day of check-in/check-out. The reservation person on the phone at Shades of Green gave me the info about the Length of Stay Pass.
Just FYI....I've been able to buy their Stars & Stripes passes (what they call length of stay) for any number of days I wanted! They've never made me match the number of days to the length of my stay. Since they work like LOS passes, though, the days are consecutive and start on the day you buy the pass. So, just go down to the ticket office on the first day you want in the parks, and buy a however-many-days-you-need Stars & Stripes pass!! It would be silly of them to refuse to sell you 2 extra days worth of passes!!

That they will drop the first and last day is actually a convenience for a lot of people. Disney won't do that for you, and to get around it at a Disney hotel, you have to have 2 separate reservations to do it...one for arrival night without passes, one for the other nights inclucing passes....

Just say "I'd like to purchase a 7 day Stars&Stripes" and that's what they'll sell you. At least, that's what we've done when we weren't using AP's and for those traveling with us who don't have AP's!!

Every time I have been, I have included my arriving and departures days. (4 times) I have even had friends that stayed in my room for part of the time I was there and they were able to get LOS passes just for their LOS. We did however pay the additional 10.00 a night for them.

Thanks guys:

I hoping I could buy the six day Los Pass instead of having to buy a 6 day Park Hopper ticket, etc. I will be checking out of the Hotel on the sixth day but want to visit the parks before leaving for home. I did want to visit Disney Quest if I have time. I did not, however want to have to buy the 6 day park hopper plus ticket and then an extra Disney Quest pass. I will need the sixth day to be my Disney Quest day.

Thanks again.

By the way:

Where can I purchase the Mickey Mouse Ears. In one post I read that they are given to children at the resorts? Am I just hoping that is the case for SOG?

You can buy whatever los pass you want. I have never had a problem with this and they don't look up how many days you are staying.

They're not given to kids at any resort. I wish!! The only place I've seen them given out is if your little one gets their very first haircut at the barber shop on Main St. in the Magic Kingdom...those have "First Haircut" written on them :)

Mouse ears of many varieties can be bought in every park and at Downtown Disney. In MK look for the hat shop on Main ST....something "Chapeau". The World of Disney store in Downtown Disney has them, too. I know they're available at AK and MGM, too. Embroidery is available in the MK, WoD store, and at AK....not sure about MGM or Epcot since we haven't gotten them done there before.
