Just Back From Short Trip To F & W At Epcot!

Let me just start by saying it was fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was my first time. I had won 3 days/2nights at the S/D through the DIS podcast so I chose to go last Thursday to Saturday with my best friend.

Left the kids and DH at home and had the most fun girl trip.

We spent Friday at Epcot for F & W...We found out it was extra magic and so Epcot was open till Midnight!!! We spent 14 hours there and had a ball.
Arrive at the back entrance at 9 am and headed for future world to ride Soarin. Grabbed a FP and hit the living seas and then grabbed a FP for test track.
11:00am we headed into the WS. The park had a lot of people in it already but we never really waited for anything. WS did not get busy till Friday night.
No problems at all getting the food and wine.

Some of our favorites....
Mexico- Chilaquiles w/Sour cream! YUM!
China- Loved the Chicken Sha Sha with peanut sauce
Japan- LOVED the Vegi roll with the wasabi and soy sauce-Not a sushi fan!Plum wine was VERY sweet!
Italy-good portion of Lasagna and it was good!
Germany-Essence Reisling and the sausage with kraut in Prezel roll!
Most everything was good.
The sweet tea in Oklahoma was refreshing.
I did try the Ice Wine is Canada and you just get one ounce for $5!!! Too sweet, but good.
France we loved the Sorbet so much.
My best friend got brave and tried a shiraz in Australia..WAY TO DRY FOR US!! I will stick with the Reislings....Still it was fun to try new things...
We did get Margarita's in Mexico and a rum drink in the Dominican republic. We ate a drank whatever we wanted and I think I spent about $75.

We actually had so much fun that we lost track of time! We decided to use our FP for test track and it was 6pm. We had forgot to take our afternoon break!! We then got really brave and rode mission space! We had fun...So we then rushed back to the Swan and freshened up and changed and came back for Extra magic hours... We watched Illuminations which was awesome and then rushed to Soarin for one last ride. 30 minutes wait!! That was our longest wait of the day. Everyone ran to soarin..I could not believe the line when we got out of there!

Then we headed back to WS and it was very quiet and nice and most all booths still open. The WS got busy around 5pm till 9pm on Friday night. Still the lines for food were only about 5 deep.
After 9pm it was great. We ended our evening in Italy with the Lasagna! It was so perfect!
It was warm all day and they called for storms, but it was nice all day and the clouds gave us a break from the sun...No rain till well after midnight. We felt so blessed!
Met so many nice friendly people that day. Everyone was just so happy.

We did so much ,but there was still so much I would have liked to have done. I will be going back someday...Hopefully next year and take DH with me.
