That man sure knows how to put on a show!!!

What a wonderful, wonderful concert. He still looks great, sings beautifully, is funny, warm, engaging, energetic, romantic.....he went on, and on for more than three hours!

I've had a very difficult year, and for a few hours he made me forget about my problems. He made me feel like a happy go lucky kid who lives to have fun (if only.....). For that, I will always love you, Paul :lovestruc

I'm really thankful I was able to be there tonight.

If I won the lotto, my one excentricity would be to follow Paul on tour and attend every concert he gives

I'm still on a high  :lovestruc

How wonderful! I'd LOVE to see him perform. I'm such a huge fan. Must have been incredible! Glad you had such a good time!

I think he'll be touring some more this Summer. Try to catch him then. It will be an experience you will cherish forever; I promise.

Sharing this with 40,000 of my best friends was really something! (that's how it felt like)

I'm so glad he did that for you! Sounds like an amazing concert and sounds like he's still got it!

I'll keep my eyes peeled for any tour dates near me!

Wow! How absolutely wonderful. I'm glad it turned out so special for you, in light of the year you had.

I once got to see Santana play. It was for a Christmas party/celebration. I thought for sure he'd be out of there after one 45 minute set. But, he too, played for 3 hours. :faint:

I think these older musicians from the era of hard work & discipline over celebrity-dom know the meaning of hard work, putting on a great show and having gratitude that they still have long, full careers. That if people are willing to show up for them, they are happy to play their hearts out.

He sure does. I've been in love with him for so long, and tonight I saw more than ever why :lovestruc

Thanks for the hug!

That's what so amazing, and most endearing of all. The way he gives so much of himself -and yes, I think that gratitude is the perfect word to describe it. You can tell how much he really loves the stage, and the audience. Almost as much as the audience loves him back!

:faint: I would pass out if I saw Paul McCartney in concert. I swoon enough over The British Invasion in Epcot.

I'm happy to hear you had such a wonderful experience! :cloud9:

I think every fan should see him at least once....the feeling is amazing!

When he smiles you can still see the boy who conquered the world back in '64

I totally agree on both counts.

Last year when I heard he would play at Fenway Park in Boston in August, I told DH "I'm going. I've been in love with this man for more than 40 years, it's on my bucket list, I'm going. You can come if you want, or not, but I am going." Since I've told my DH since day 1 that Paul is the only man I'd ever have to thin twice about leaving him for, he decided he better come with me :lmao:

It was SUCH an amazing time....the high did last for a long time....and I smile whenever I walk into our home office and see the big tour poster of him I bought and framed....with that smile....

Love Sir Paul. I went to see him in 199?'s. I think it was the Live and Let Die tour, maybe 1992ish. Linda was still alive and touring with him.

If you ever get a chance to see him GO! It will give you the chills.

I saw him a few years ago and he was amazing-played stright thru-3 hours . It was simply the best:)

Agreed. I saw him last year at Fenway Park and loved the show, definately one of the top 10 concerts I've ever seen and I've seen hundreds:thumbsup2

I see a LOT of concerts and you can really see a difference with these older, experienced musicians. I can only explain it as they just really KNOW what they're doing. They know the importance of reaching and engaging the audience. And believe me, the younger bands I see do not always have that skill, even if they do make great music.

I'm a veteran of quite a few Sir Paul shows dating back to Wings in '76. What he does to an audience is just amazing. He's the musical equivalent to a day WDW. You just can't believe how great it is.:goodvibes

We came from Texas to see him at Fenway last year. It was awesome. :thumbsup2

You live in Miami? I live near the stadium he played at. Glad you had a great time.:thumbsup2

He puts on an amazing show doesn't he....I got to see him back in 2005 in DC....didn't have the greatest seats but for his show my DH and I didn't care because at least in my lifetime I got to see a Beatle in concert(my favorite one).....I bought a concert poster there and it hung on my wall in my cubicle at work till I left my job in 2006....now it's on the wall in my scrapbook room and I still have the keychain from the concert on my keyring.

Everytime he smiled I just melted.....I'm not married, so I'm ready to run off with him at anytime

The last time I believe they toured together was in '90, I was went to see him then too. I remember him introducing Linda as "My bride of 21 yrs" sigh....

The Miami Herald on its review today calls him "a superman". His stamina is unbelievable. I wish I had half his energy!

Agreed. I saw him last year at Fenway Park and loved the show, definately one of the top 10 concerts I've ever seen and I've seen hundreds:thumbsup2

I wanted to go to Fenway Park so badly! I had no idea that in just a few months he'd be in town here.

He played the piano, bass (how I love that Beatle-violine shaped bass!) mandolin, Ukelele (sp), and quite a few guitars, because he "wanted to show them off" He is pure music.

I'd have loved to see Wings. I was happy to see that Wings was well represented this time. Your WDW analogy is PERFECT :goodvibes

There were people as far away as Brazil! He is soooo worth the trip :cloud9:

You live in Miami? I live near the stadium he played at. Glad you had a great time.:thumbsup2

Yes, I live in Miami, about half an hour from the stadium. I had a wonderful time!

He is my favorite also. Our seats weren't the greatest, but not in the nosebleed section either. I'd love to be in the front row some day!
