Check in was about 25 mins, only a few people working when we arrived.

We were assigned a room in building 28. The room didn't look like it was cleaned very well after the previous guests checked out or maybe the rooms are in need of rehab. It also had a faint smell as if it had been smoked in or maybe the smokers clothing carried the smell back to the room. Either way, we went back to the front desk to see if it was possible to switch. We had to switch rooms to building 27. Once that was taken care of, we were all set.

The building was okay, a bit of a hike everywhere but that's to be expected with such a huge resort. Housekeeping was so-so.

We had noisy neighbors for the first few nights but then they left which was a blessing.

The buses were very crowded, especially at closing. Sometimes having to wait through a few cycles of buses.

The food court was okay. Your typical food court fare.

The grounds were pretty and well maintained.

All in all, I don't think I'll go back to POR because I'd like to try other resorts first.

We didn't care for POR either. The shared buses with POFQ was a nightmare. With strollers and a small children, waiting through cycles of people to fighting to get on the bus was crazy.
