Just Back from Pop Century

Brief summary: Spent 5 days at POP and loved it. Did EPCOT, MK, AK, and MGM (part of the day). Hit the following restaurants. Biergarten, Crystal Palace, Liberty Tree Tavern, Boma, Hoop Dee Doo Review, Chef Mickey's and finally Concourse Steakhouse.

How did you like Biergarten? I've heard mixed reviews.

Biergarten was very good. They had a pretty good variety of german food and even some stuff my finicky 2yr old would eat (mac n cheese). It is a very nice atmosphere if you don't mind sitting with strangers, we were fortunate enough to be seated next to a family of very polite teenagers (those are hard to come by). I liked the different varieties of meats; Brats, Pork Loin, Black Forest Ham, Roasted Chicken and some cold cuts. The Pork Loin was pretty good but the Brats were by far my favorite. My wife loved the Saptzle and of course DD2 loved the mac and cheese. If I had a complaint it would be that there wasn't enough German Beer to choose from, I think the main one was Lownebrau, and the desserts were a little bland, but we didn't go for the dessert. All in all I would give it very good on the authentice german food and atmosphere and would definetely go back.

We ate there in Feb and loved it. We'll be going back this Friday. It was one of the few places my BF really wanted to return to. Good selection of chicken and sausages.

Glad you liked Pop. We're staying there this weekend. We've never been there before.

How was the wait for a bus at POP? We will be there in May, and this is my only concern. I have heard many good things about the resort, what was your opinion? Thanks!
