Well I'll make this trip report short.

Day 1 we missed our 4:45 SW flights but our luggage made it just fine. One of our little DD starting crying at the airport figuring she would not get to see Micket this year. Thankfully though there was another SW flight 45 minutes later, though not direct, it was still heading in the right direction. So we arrived in Orlando 2 hours pass our scheduled time.

Other than the fiasco of getting our of our house and missing the flight the trip itself was pretty good. We kept ourselves busy with the parks and shows. This year the kids were big enough and brave enough to try all the coasters, Everest was their farvorite. We attended Mickey's Christams party which was OK at best.

The parks seemed down on attendence, we asked one of the big cheeses and he said the parks were down about 15%. Lines for rides were 35 minutes max except for the new toy story ride at DHS which was 70 minutes at the minimum, most were 5 to 10 minutes.

Lodging at the BWV BW view room 5051 was ok. It was the last room overlooking the courtyard area. Condition of the room was alright but it seemed everything was wet. There was a lot of moisture on the windows and since the bedroom windows didn't open and there was no deck there was some mildew growth. Other then that we braved it out for the 8 days we were there.

Yes....we made our flight home....

Thank you for the trip report...but it sounds like you didn't have too much fun. If that is true that makes me feel sad for you. I hope there was more excitement there than what I read from your trip report.

I am going down in 21 days and hope the weather holds out for me!!!

Are you from? Did you fly out of Bradley? What happened? Thanks

I'm surprised your bags made it and you didn't. Airlines have no issue with people missing flights. But if bags are on the plane and the owners are not--that's a big security red flag. They usually hold the plane or remove the bags.

Glad you made it eventually.

Actually the trip was great. Just a typical Disney trip for us, busy, busy with lots of walking. But we did start our days a little later then normal just to give the kids some down time. Hope I didn't give many the impression the trip stunk.

We did fly out of Bradley and I never did think of the bags on the flight but we weren't. Very true about the security thing. We just got there very late, very much our fault.

cpdwiz we are from Wilbraham......
